So, It's gotten to the point where my job does not want me to come in, if i keep spitting in their damn trash cans because the cleaning crew is getting grosses out. For about 3 weeks I constantly get a clear salivia under my tounge that I have to spit out EVERY FEW MINUTES If I have cotton mouth, it becomes thicker. If I swallow it, I become nausious and I gag on thick salvia from accidently swallowing some. The only thing my dr. can say is that "it will go away soon" this is effecting my work....... who can I see about this. its watering as im typing this and I have to gease it out..... the gross part? I was able to fill a baggy 1/4th with just spit. it never stops.....

Constantly Having To Spit
SoGastric replied to SoGastric's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I cant just spit in a Bathroom. I'm a tech and the business depends on me being with my customer at all times with exceptions for breaks and emergencies. They don't consider spitting every 5mins an emergency. I'm on previcid. Should I change it? Been on it for weeks. -

[Part 2] Can't Stop Spitting
SoGastric replied to SoGastric's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Did you know four doctors couldn't tell me that? Are you serious? I will demand that they give me my mushy diet. So I can eat something. I have not had food in two weeks. Surgery was in 12.12.11 I love you. I seriously do. I hope you're right. I'll post back after they are done treating me like ****. -
So, as you guys requested. Went to the hospital for an IV, ended up with a 3 night stay, and no results as to why liquids and foods make me throw up or gag. Surgeon thinks I irritated my walls and maybe was swollen at the time of sickness but now, I can keep liquids down. They did a upper GI test and watched liquid flow from mouth to bowels with no clog or leak. Thats good. Only problem? A clear liquid under my tounge keeps forming and forming and forming. Does not stop. It's disgusting and despite trying not to be nauseasious if I swallow it, my stomach gets irritated. Only been on PPI for 4 days. Once again, I'm sick of them telling me there's nothing wrong with me. What could cause the spitting ? As per my last thread. Im Hydrated and using the bath room every 3 hrs.

Every time I call the surgeons office they keep telling me I'm fine and I'm eating/drinking wrong. I keep having to spit, swallowing a lot of it is making me gag/dry heave. Constantly having to gag/heave even when I don't drink or eat anything. Water upsets me Mushy food upsets me EVERYTHING upsets me And they keep telling me I'm fu***** okay. IM NOT. I FEEL LIKE DEATH. What the hell is wrong with me ? I beg for an answer or support. I can't do this alone. I'm sitting in my car typing this. Nothing in my mouth. I'm gagging. Two days ago... Kidney stones.... What's next? gallbladder? Surgery: 12.12.11 Lost: 64lbs

Team, Went to the surgeons office without an appointment and caught my surgeon. He was happy to see me. Gave me doctors orders to get hydrated I'm sitting in the ER as we speak. He gave me two options. Stay two days. Or go in get hydrated and go home. I want to see if this works. So I opted to stay just today. I'll keep everyone posted. The charge nurse is rushing to get me in.
