I'm 11 days post op and I'm feeling so much better boy that was rough gaining 8lbs from surgery. But today I'm down 12lbs since surgery. I hope I never feel like that again. I'm so glad we have this forum talk.

Well I'm feeling alot better I went to my Dr. appointment today and I'm 2lbs less then surgery!! Just keep on doing what your doing it will come off. Before you know it you will have that 25lbs off. I'm just going to say postive because I know I'm doing it right Drink Drink Walk Walk Walk LOL. Get your protien in. Good luck to you I wish you the best! Belinda

I had surgery on 8/27 and I have 6weeks off!! But my job I have to lift over 5lbs so that was my Dr.'s rectrictions. I would take more if they let me LOL. But I get payed being off.

AWW I'm sorry that would suck big time. I haven't had a period in 5 years either. Wow I hope I don't wake up to that. I'm 1 week post op so hopefully I got though that. I wish you luck!

Thanks Susan That makes sense my husband keep telling me the same thing but I hear everyone else lossing the first week it just makes me depressed thinking what the heck did I do.

Hi! I was also sleeved 1 week tomorrow and I'm soooo depressed. I cry over anything but the main thing is I gained 8lbs right after surgery. I have only lost 3lbs of that. I just upsets me so much that I did this and Its not going to work for me. I'm not eating other than my protien shake and sf Jello and sf pudding made with my protien shake mix. I might not be getting all my water but every thing else I'm doing like my dr. told me to do. I hear so many people that's lost 10lbs the first week and I'm still 5lbs up. What I'm I don't wrong? I also take zoloft and I'm ready to double my dose just to get though this. Thanks Belinda

Hi everyone I was just wonder if anyone else gained weight right after surgery? I was 209 when I went in for surgery that morning and when I got home 2 days later I'm now 217 grrrrrr. So I thought ok its just the Water weight from all the fluids they pumped in me from the IV but its been 4days and I'm still 217 will this weight come off? It really makes me mad I haven't ate nothing but my protien shakes and some sf Jello and sf popsiclkes. Please let me know if this happen to you the first week of surgery. Thanks Belinda

I know I shouldn't of weighted myself but I was just die to find out if I lost. I was shocked I gained but I thought about it and I know its all the fluid they pumped into me after surgery. I have heard of people weighting everyday I can say I will probley be one of those people. LOL I just can't help it, Well It makes me feel alot better that I'm not the only one that gained. Thanks that makes me feel a little better I'm not going to weight myself for 1 week and see what happens.

I'm also tomorrow 8-27-12!!! Good luck to all!! I'm a little nervous but excited I know this is what I need to lose this weight. I'm on a clear liquid diet today. Surgery is at 0730 I think I'm first for the day. Well good Luck everyone being Sleeved tomorrow. Belinda

Hi I was told the same thing to bring my cpap machine with me. That is my goal is to get off oxygen and my cpap. How much weight have you lost? I can't wait to lose lbs so that happens!

That is GREAT!!! I was hoping I would lose 20lbs on my pre-op diet but so far I have only lost 5lbs in a week I have 1 more week to go. I have my surgery on monday the 27th can't wait!!!

My surgery is the 27th also! I have been on my pre-op since last sunday. My Dr. requires 2 week I can have 5 protien shakes and 2 cups of veggies and sf jello or sf popsickle that is it. It hasn't been to bad the first day was the hardest. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

So I started my pre-op diet this morning. I'm starving I hope I can get though this for 2 weeks. Why is it some people don't have to do a 2 week diet? My niece only had 1 day of pre-op diet don't understand why some dr's requires 1day and some do 2 weeks. I know I have to srink my liver but really does it really take 2 weeks to do it?
