Had my first meeting with my doctor yesterday after the seminar a few weeks back and now the ball is rolling.. Met with the nutritionist as well which was very informative. Glad my wife was with me and she is so supportive of this for me as my 15 year old son is as well.. Now all the testing starts and I wish they started tomorrow. Unfortunately, I need to stretch this out for another 4 months because of Aetna, but I can wait because I know in the long run, this is all going to be so worth it.. At some point I need to spring on mom... Not really sure what her reaction will be, as long as she realizes this is for me and my health and I would just like her support. We shall see!! Hope everyone is well. -Randy

Hilarious CT, Just another positive thing to look forward to.. And now there's coffee coming out of my nose. Love this forum!!!!!

So glad to hear that I can still drink coffee... I tried half a cup of leaded the other day and a few cups of the unleaded garbage throughout the day and man, I was draggin'...... I guess I'll just need to get used to decaf for a little while. No problem with the detox that I hear about and good to know I can enjoy it eventually. Thanks all.

So I'm new to all this folks and my first doctors appointment is this friday.Very excited.. So many of my questions have been answered at the seminar & through this forum but just wanted to know the deal with coffee???? I heard there is no caffeine 2-3 weeks before surgery but don't know how long after... Is coffee something I wil eventually get to have again or is it a permanant no no?? I do enjoy my coffee, a lot of it, but I can do without it. Whatever it takes to stay healthy, I'm ready!!!!!! Randy

Went to my first seminar a few weeks back & my doctors appointment is this Friday. Can't wait! Even got all my medical records ready so there are no hold ups on that end..... Very Excited!! and very inspired reading all your stories..... Randy

Hi everyone! I was just wondering, on average, about how long it takes after surgery to get back, full strength, to the gym? I really enjoy working out at the gym instead of just the usual walking but if that is what needs to be done for quite a while, then I can deal with it.... I have a treadmill at home and enjoy walking oustide, but just trying to get an idea when I'll be able to get back in the gym? Thanks for any responses.. Randy
