    Fitness Nsv For Me! :)

Way to go!!!! It feels amazing doesn't it!!! We all need to realize that this journey is so much more than numbers on a scale. You go girl
  2. We were sleeved on the same day and I could have written your post!!! I have been stuck at 186 for almost a month!!!!! I'm trying not to freak out but the longer the scale doesn't move the more worried I get. Prior to this stall, it seemed the more I exercised the slower the weight loss was so I completely stopped exercising. I'm going to start back exercising tomorrow and keep my calories at 800 and see what happens within the next week I have tried raising and lowering my calories to no avail. It's so frustrating being in a stall, especially this soon out. Although I am so please with my weight loss, I would like to hit my next mini goal of 175 within the next few weeks. Please keep me posted on what works to break your stall as I will do the same.
  3. I am 4 months out and have lost 50 lbs!!!! I had been on birth control pills for several years but had to stop before surgery. I have not started taking them again because I'm afraid they will interfere with my weight loss progress. I also have PCOS (Poly-cystic ovarian syndrome). Please let me know what your experience has been. Thanks in advance!!!

    Really?

I've been bouncing back between 190-192 for 2 weeks. Last night I was PMSing and decided to have some red wine. 4 ozs led to 8ozs which led to dark chocolate and peanut butter which led to tortilla chips which led to candied pecans!!!!! A mini binge yes, seeing as though they weren't large quantities, but a binge no less. I woke up this morning at 188!!!! So is this how you break a stall? Break all the rules and go nuts for a day??? Btw I'm almost 4 months out and as if today down 50 lbs!!
  5. OMG, I just had my first taste of a Granny Smith Apple since surgery in January. It was heavenly! Who knew so much pleasure could come from a piece of fruit. I love my sleeve : )
  6. I have been exercising (brisk walking and strength training) since 2 weeks post op. On Monday I began running. I ran for 2 miles and upped my reps and amount of weight for my strength training. On Tuesday I was so sore I could hardly move. I also gained 3 pounds! After the initial freaking out, I scoured the web and learned that sore muscles actually retain water to help with the healing. So I'm feeling quite certain that within a few days I will lose the water weight and possibly a few more lbs for good measure. Hopefully this information is useful for someone else.
  7. I have just found quest protein bars! They come in a ton of flavors my favorite being lemon, chocolate brownie, cinnamon roll and vanilla almond! They are delicious they have about 170 calories, 24 Carbs, but 19 of those are from fiber!!!!!!!! Also 20 grams of protein!!!! Sometimes I have them as a meal but usually I take a bite or two over the course of a few days to satisfy my sweet tooth. The only downside is that you have to order them online because they are hard to find in stores.

    I Made It To Underhand!

Blast that self correction!! Title should read onederland!
  9. Weighed in this morning at 198!!!!!! Finally made it to onderland and it's an awesome feeling. On my way to a normal weight!!!! I actually increased my calories from around 620 to a little over 800 and lost 2 lbs in 2 days. So do I stay at 800 or go back closer to 600. I'm 9 weeks out. Any suggestions?????
  10. I started this journey 2 months ago at 237 pounds. For the past 4 days I have weighed 200.8, 200.4, 200.0, 200.2. I am losing my mind waiting for the scale to read 199. I know its going to happen , but it just can't happen fast enough. I can't even remember the last time I weighed under 200 pounds! I'm so excited, and can't wait for it to happen, but I know that soon, I'll be stressed about the next benchmark, out of the 190s, 180s, etc. I'm trying to learn patience, but why is it so hard????? :-)
  11. I'm 3 weeks out today and during my 2nd week I gained 3 lbs. I got so upset and hysterical that I decided to weigh myself only once per month! We all want the weight to disappear over night and that's just not going to happen. I feel amazing and my clothes are beginning to hang so I know I'm losing. I can't let the scale dictate my mood! I go for my one month check up on Feb. 9 and will find out how much I lost. Keep your head up, keep following the plan and it will drop off before you know it!
  12. Thank you all for going above and beyond to get information for me! I spoke with the nurse at my Dr's office and she said it will not cause weight gain. We discovered that the weight gain was propably caused by my recent increase in water intake. I finally drank over 64 ozs! My cells are rehydrating! Thanks again to all who responded! BTW I weighed again this morning and the 3 lbs were gone! WHEW : )
  13. I was on sleeved on Jan 11 and have lost 22lbs! I used some coconut oil on my skin because I was told it would help with loose skin. I weighed myself and gained 3 lbs! I've been on full liquids and have been following my diet to the letter. Is fat absorbed through the skin? Please no opinions, only facts. Thanks in advanced, I'm freaking out!
