    Restless Leg?

OMG I am five weeks post-op and experiencing the same EXACT thing. I have resorted to taking half a xanex every night just to get to sleep because my legs want to move and move... its almost like it is painful.
  2. I am five weeks post op (Surgery Jan. 3) and I have lost exactly 25lbs since the date of my surgery.

    NSV shout outs

I am five weeks out tomorrow and have lost 25 pounds. Yesterday I was doing laundry (which sucks because I have a two story house). Anyways, I was running up the stairs to hang up my daughter's clothes in her closet and my stretchy pants fell down to my knees. Small NSV but a NSV nonetheless!!!
  4. Believe me I felt the same way. I am three weeks and three days post-op and when I was on liquids I was the same way (drink drink drink, no restriction). Now that I have been on solids for three days, I am STUFFED after about 2oz of food. Its the oddest thing!!! You are not alone. I also went from being hungry (or so I thought) all the time on liquids to forgetting to eat on solids.
  5. I was sleeved three weeks ago today. I am very happy with the results (22lbs since surgery). Until about nine days post op I was for the most part free of pain. Then it hit. The intense pain in my left side. Its like a burning and pulling sensation when I sit, sneeze, cough, get in the car, etc. I went to the Dr and they said that it is perfectly normal to feel this way. Well that was a week ago! I am still having this intense pain. Can anyone relate? How long did it take to go away? The Dr said that my left side would hurt because that is where the staple gun went in and they had to make larger incisions, but this is crazy! Anybody else feel this pain?
  6. Here I am three weeks post-op and down 22lbs "officially" since the morning of surgery. People keep asking how I feel. Well honestly, I still have alot of pain in my left side... it hurts to sneeze, cough, lay on my back, side and just about any other position...It feels like my insides are ripping apart. The dr says this is normal. My doctor was Nick Nicholson in Plano, Tx. He is a dream and his office and coordinators rock. I had to go back to work yesterday. I have a desk job and it goes without saying that sitting all day was a serious pain. The last two hours I just stood up because it felt better. I have not been able to work out much since surgery because of the pain in my side. I am hoping by next week I will be feeling better. My office offers a free gym membership so I am ready to get on that treadmill during my lunch. Its kinda weird because everyone I tell wants to know what I eat, how much I eat, what it feels like, and a ton of other questions. I know they are just curious so I try to be compliant and answer them the best I can. If you have any questions for me feel free to ask! I can't wait till I am a couple months post-op and feel better!
