Howdy TXdjvsg. Nice to see more neighbors! Do you go to the support groups for Dr. Mason? I've been a couple of times but I had scheduling conflicts. 54 lbs is great! I'm loving how healthy I feel now.

Yea! Thank you for the forum! Unfortunately, I won't be able to post since I don't have the required 100 posts...I've mostly been lurking for the past year (and have learned and been inspired so much). But I've been sleeved just over a year now and would love to hear from other's who are as far along. Thank you again!

Hi peteyhereicome! I'm here in C.S. Had my surgery a year ago this past Saturday by Dr. Mason. It's been a great journey so far. Just wanted to say Hi to a neighbor!

My 3 month aniversary is coming up in a couple of days (the 22nd). I'm doing pretty well. I'm down 55 pounds today!! Can't wait to hit onderland!! I'm also down about 6 clothes sizes...from 24W to 12 in misses!! I really hate the stalls...but after the stalls comes a big chunk of weight loss. The eating part is really weird for me though. Sometimes, I can barely eat 3 bites of Protein, then again, I can eat the whole 4 ounces at a meal. Exercise is fun for me now. I love that I can be active again, I'm doing the Couch to 5K program and my goal is to do a 5K by my birthday in June. I ran in shorts for the first time yesterday. I love wearing shorts again!! I'm also back in the gym again and I don't feel so self conscious being there. I would love to hear how everyone else is doing too! Come on December Sleevers! How's it going?

Where Can I Buy Good Inexpensive Protein At A Store?
B A replied to Allie ALii's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I really like Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein that I buy at Walmart for about $15.00 a tub. I've tried the chocolate and the chocolate peanut butter and they are both good. One scoop gives you 26g of protein and only 130 calories. It fulfilled the requirements that my doctor gave me for my protein supplement. -

Protein Drink Shaker Bottle Suggestions?
B A replied to Dooter's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I ordered mine from Wal-mart.com. It's a Your Body Your Fortress shaker bottle for about $2.50. I love it! It doesn't have the blendy ball, but it has a screen at the top so that when you shake it, it goes back and forth through this screen. Really easy to clean, too. Just rinse it off. Plus it was delivered to my home free because I purchase enough of my protein and protein shots to qualify for the free to home shipping. (The 10 pack of protein shots are less than purchasing them individually) -

That is awesome!! Running a 5K is one of my goals. I just started the Couch to 5k program (haven't run since high school) and I'm hoping to run my first 5K in the spring. You have inspired me more...Way to Go!!! -
