I read the recent posts. You guys are doing a wonderful job! Keep up the great work. I had no loss this week. Better luck next week.

Hi all! I'm down 1.5. I finally dusted off the scale since Greg said it probably had dust last week. I was actually surprised that I lost. I hurt my back and haven't exercised in quite a few days and I ate candy while grading papers on Sunday.

Great way to see things and a good laugh at the same time!
-
Fine with me. I guess we could go for "smaller" numbers.

A while ago I was watching a diet program info-mercial. I agreed with one statement made, "When it rains, it rains water. If people were meant to drink pop, then it would rain pop." Well, it made sense once I thought about it.

Lauri, My husband and I make a 10. He is thin and I am round! Maybe someday we will make an 11. Michelle, You are different. You do an excellent job at sticking to the plan and that is why you are an inspiration to all of us!

Thanks for the welcome. I saw an announcement for this pill called Cortislim. It is meant to help you reduce a stress hormone produced when people are under stress. Has anyone looked into it?

Wow! Everyone is doing an amazing job!!!! Congrats.! Well, I got on the scale and saw a .5 loss. However, I don't think it was dust like Greg said. I hopped off and got back on and it was the same. I wasn't too upset because from last Saturday to today it was a 3.5 loss. I must say it was very hard not to jump on the scale first thing in the morning every day last week but I did it. Good luck everyone and keep up the good work!

I was so excited and nervous about going to TJ to get a fill (I'm afraid of heights) but now I am so happy I did. I will probably never fly to San Diego then go to TJ and return to Chicago all in the same day again but it was worth it. I thought getting a fill was just something I had set my mind on but after getting it I felt that "new fill" difference. I'm on the liquid stage still. However, the scale finally moved! (It had been over 3 months!)

DeLarla, School is out. I'm sitting here in my classroom all alone all the while I'm cracking up. Other teachers are asking me what is so funny. I didn't tell them, of course, but now they think I'm losing it.

Hi! I would like to join the weekly challenge. What does it involve? My wieght this Monday was 246.

Michelle and I had the same nutritionist and therefore received the same instructions. I drink a lot of water. The more I drink the more I want. Does that happen to you guys?
-
Rica, I lost 15 of the first 25 pounds during the first three weeks also. After the first fill, I lost 10 pounds and went up and down 3 of those 10 pounds. I lost those 10 pounds during the first two weeks after the fill. I hope that doesn't happen again. I kind of don't want to get off the three-day liquid stage because I am afraid I will gain 1-2 pounds or stop losing weight again.

Michelle, I think his new office is really nice. Gabriela is also very nice. Well, I am now at 2.2, I guess it was time for a fill.
-
Michelle, I am so sorry that you are going through a tough time. However, I am glad that your son is feeling better. I will pray that everyhting comes out alright.
-
Tanise, the change you describe is amazing! Congrats. on our success!!! I'm with Michelle I can't remeber the last time I was a 6......maybe I was born a plus size.

How do you guys get enough fiber in your diet?
-
Sooo did he charge you $250. I also live near Chicago. I was looking for a doctor. I talked to a few of Dr. Horgan's emploees and they told me $1000.
-
Penni, Do you weigh yourself at the same time every day? I heard we should weigh ourselves in the morning before showering and after going to the restroom.
-
I AM so excited! I am seriously counting down the days. I am sure my husband will try sending me this week if I keep reminding him how many days are left. I finally lost the pound and a half I put on for being bad last weekend.

My name is Veronica. I was banded on April 6, 2004 by Dr. Ortiz. I noticed that two-three weeks post op, I was REALLY hungry. Well, I finally got a fill in June. I had some restriction for another two-three weeks. I waited way loo long to decide to get another fill. Now, I have to wait longer to get a fill so that I could get a decent price on a plane ticket. So, I will be in TJ on October 16. My appetite is soaring and the scale is slowly starting to creap back up!!!! Should the second fill be better? Should the restriction last longer?

Penni, Archi, Betty and Jughead are around here somewhere......

What happens if a fill is too tight? I figured I would eat less and lose more weight. Now, I think I am wrong. Any answers? Personal experiences?

I agree with RebeccaLee. My husband plays soccer with his shirt off and that video immediately remided me of his Sunday Soccer Afternoons.
