Craving Pizza, Surgery Tuesday. Help!
izzy replied to Misstxdiva's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm on the liquid diet too and I have cravings too...especially when my son and husband order pizza! But... I remind myself of the end result...I don't want the surgeon to refuse my surgery becuase I didn't follow the plan. I have dodged office parties too and my cowprkers are so supportive they remind me that I can do it! I think that that has helped me the most. Having a good support group. They have really kept me going. I hope this helps? -
One Week To Go Til Surgery
izzy replied to txchickinla's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi! I'm also having my surgery April 12th! I am so excited and ready!I told my sister and my mom and they are both very supportive. My sister is even going to stay the night with me. I didn't tell my brothers I didn't think it was important for them to know...I do miss chewing but the liquid diet hasn't been too bad for me. I'm supposed to drink 5 shakes a day. I can only get down 3 but they said its ok. I have lost 5lbs since I started it! -
I Have Decided To Tackle One Of My "bad Habits"
izzy replied to CowgirlJane's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I work nights and have trouble when I am off. I tend to eat at 2 or 3 in the morning when I'm off. I am trying to break the habit, but it is really hard. Another thing I do is get up at noon and eat then go back to bed until its time for me to get ready for work. When I work I eat one snack and thats it. I also drink very little when I am at work so I don't know how I am going to change that when I have the surgery. We are not allowed to have drinks at our stations. -
Thanks everyone for your kind words and support!

HI! I am new here, but have been lerking for awhile. I'm 5ft and weight 207lbs. My surgery date is March 1. I'm very worried and scared! I know that is normal but I can't help but wonder if I'm doing the right thing. My husband and my friends know about it. I can't bring myself to tell the rest of my family! Especially my parents! They are really negative people and I just don't want any negativity around when I go through surgery. Any way, I am most scared about loosing my hair! I have really thin hair to start with and I'm loosing it now. Has anyone used Ovation Therapy for their hair? I hear from a friend that it worked for her when she went through chemo. I think I will try it...
