Why Do We Lose Our Hair?
Swimmer replied to ooffa511's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mine started really falling out at three months. I don't like it at all and wish it would stop, but I'm still so happy with the weight loss and I thankfully have thick hair and a lot of it. I started taking biotin months before surgery, but admit I don't always get my protein in. -

I agree with Polly, it sounds like acids reflux. You may nerf to take your ppi twice a day and try tums too. Good luck. -

That's incredible. I'm two months further out and just hitting 50. I drop 10 or 12 then stall forever though. Way to go. Also I'm in the 180's and can't wear xls. -
Could you try a maternity belt to take some pressure off or compression shorts? Feel better.

I do shakes and bars. I prefer the bars now. -
Yes, you ate either too fast or too much. I've done it and hate the feeling so much. I need to chew better too.
-
That's more than I can eat at three months out. But I still had a little pain at your point. Hope you are healing well.

It will get better. You are probably just very focused on yourself and the changes you are going through, probably for the first time in your life. People who haven't gone through this don't understand. Give yourself a chance and keep focused. Your moods will improve as you learn to handle the changes. Hang in there.

Swimmer replied to Minckle's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm only three months out, but we had company last night. I don't eat much but nobody noticed. It's very normal. People don't really care and I just chat more and enjoy the company. I was shocked so early out things can feel so normal on tiny portions. -

Almost Time! Surgery On May 7Th. Second Thoughts......
Swimmer replied to roxy.grissom's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Totally normal feelings. The mental part is very hard. It's a huge change. I agree with how important the pre op diet is and remember what you lose now is gone forever. You can do this don't forget how bad you wanted this in the first place. -
