  1. Wow some got out crazy fast! Just moved from pdx and love that city so much!
  2. Sticking to my pre op diet, also self imposed. It does make it harder. Trying to work out and walk as much as possible before my surgery, it's almost time. I'm very excited. I'm praying I have success like so many of you all! Also nesting at home it feels similar to when u had the kids trying to prepare everything.

    My Story

Congrats you are doing great. I can't wait to join you soon!
  4. I can't seem to see the tickers so was curious. If you are comfortable what was your high weight, surgery weight and weight two months out? It seems like many lose about forty by two months. Is the loss much higher for higher bmi patients, I'm starting around 30 bmi by surgery date? Thanks!
  5. Wow 40 in a month! Way to go I bet you are feeling great! Very good point about the excess weight. I was hoping for forty in about two months. I have a total of about 70 to go. I hanger not had a pre op diet really just did out on my own since getting close to my date and have taken off about twenty so far. Thanks for the responses. I love this site. I've learned so much here!

  8. Wishing you a speedy recovery and much success!
  9. I'm on the 25th. I'm very excited, but really haven't told many people. I guess I fear I will somehow fail once again. But I'm ready and hopeful for my future. Best wishes all!
  10. Love it, and all the same to you. I'm very excited for my journey. This site has been such a wonderful resource for me. I truly enjoy reading about everybodies victories and stories. I don't feel as alone with this struggle and love that so many here get it and have the same hopes and fears I do. Much love.

    January 2012 Sleevers!

Looks like it's either the 11th or 25th depends on the surgeon. I hope to find out very soon. As much as I really want it done now so the 11th would be faster, my dh is out of the country that day and with the kids and hospital being over an hour and a half away I guess I'm hoping for the 25th. I'm so ready to have this done, but realize it's for the rest of my life. Patience is something I need to work on.
  12. So sorry wishing you strength and good wishes.
  13. I think at Rex in Raliegh there are two hospital options. Best wishes on your journey.
  14. I was told the same thing. I know they were able to get extra days covered for me with my csecs due to complications. I'm assuming this might be similar?
  15. I had my consultation around November 14th and was approved yesterday hopefully surgery by the 28th.
  16. The same thing happened to me. It had to be faxed three times before they found it attached to another person's file. Then today I called twice to the office to schedule and nobody called back. Frustrated. But so thrilled to be approved. You have to stay on top of things more than I'm used to and nobody seems to feel the urgency I do, lol.
  17. I started around the first of December. I just got approved tonight. I'm on cloud nine will schedule a date tomorrow!
  18. Congrats enjoy your journey.
  19. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and smooth surgery! Prayers.
