    Do The Cravings Stop ?

I agree with the above I crave healthy things now. It's much better once the limits are lifted. Then I didn't want to eat much of anything.

    Pre-Op, Jittery And Older

I just want to say best wishes to you on your journey. I wish you much success and support. There's a lot of support and information here. It's helped me so much, good luck!
  7. Hope it's not a leak. Best wishes.
  8. I read this before and it's why I'll never touch the stuff. Doesn't sound pleasant.

    Stalling!

I wish I would have stayed calmer because when it broke I lost an average of 1 to 2 pounds everyday. I'm still losing about one a day. It was frustrating but a good lesson in patience.
  10. I have the New Whey ones from Target and Walmart. I have seen them at gnc too. I think they smell and taste a bit like amoxacillin though.

    Faq - Come In!

Why can't I tolerate plain Water, is this normal? What is sliming/slimes? Symptoms of a leak/stricture? What is a stricture? Did you tell others, why? How much did you lose at 1 month ect? What can I expect to lose by x? How many days in the hospital? Best Protein shakes?
  14. I love coconut but won't ever eat it again as it's on my never eat again list too. I've had a little corn in my salads without an issue. I was wondering about corn too. Do most people eat it?
  15. Welcome to onederland!

    Eating Is A Chore Now!

I agree,i just don't enjoy eating anymore. I guess that was the point, lol. But I struggle to get the minimum calories in because no matter how little or slow I eat I never feel well after. I'm not complaining though, I'm thrilled to have these issues.

    Anxious :-(

I went through exactly the same things I think maybe it is an allergy to the glue and the healing process. It was horrible for about a week. The above things mentioned all helped me. I also gained and freaked out, six pounds at the same time out as you followed by a crazy long stall. Good news is it broke and I started losing very fast again. Nothing would have helped me feel better at the time, but I promise you aren't going to fail. Hang in there and let your body heal. It will get better.
  18. I have this issue too. I know it's usuallylow blood pressure. Hope it goes away.
  19. At six weeks after I was able to eat a bit more normally, i.e. something besides soup and shakes, I realized I felt more normal. It just gets easier everyday. Hang in there.

    So Frusterated!

This is my story exactly too though I started a little be lighter than you are currently. It's frustrating, but I have to imagine our bodies are thankful. Not sure when others will notice, but I don't like the attention so it is ok with me. But I would like to fit in smaller clothes! Good luck to you. You aren't alone.
  22. I think it gets better. Pre op and early on I noticed every food ad and after reading your post I realized I never do that anymore. Though I admit eating just isn't fun anymore. I end up feeling yucky no matter how slowly or little I eat, but the head hunger is pretty much gone for me at eight weeks. Good luck.
  23. You won't fail, I promise. I can't say the scale won't go up as I gained six pounds at this stage and stalled for weeks. I was as sad as could be. But then when it broke I was losing line two pounds a day. So your body might try to hold on to anything you give it after weeks of nothing but liquids. But the scale will be your friend again soon. Hopefully this won't be what happens at all to you! Good luck you will succeed!
  24. I had pretty much the picture prefect journey so far. I read so much on this site and made sure I knew as much as possible. I too felt like this was my last option and couldn't be happier. Best wishes.
