I have been married for almost 4 1/2 years to my wonderful husband, Patrick. I work for Akron Children's Hospital in the School Health Department and am placed in an elementary school in Akron. I love my job, especially having the weekends and summer off! I am a graduate student at Kent State working on a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, this will be my second Master's degree. I also have a Bachelors and Master's degree in Community Health Education and Promotion. My area of interest is food addiction, compulsive overeating, binge eating, and eating disorders. As well as counseling for pre and post operative bariatic surgery patients. I hope one day to have my own counseling practice. Patrick and I own one cat that we have had for almost 8 years named Rowan, he is our baby until we're ready for the real thing. I enjoy spending time with my husband, my cat, a few close friends, and my family. I have a weight loss surgery blog called Bariatric Beginnings atwww.bariatricbeginnings.wordpress.com. I had gastric sleeve weight loss surgery on July 12, 2010.
