Hi there! A little history - I am 30 months post op/sleeve. I have had great success, but recently put back on 20 pounds. That isn't such a big deal to me as I still surpassed my surgeon's goal, but I am working to get it off. My question is, has anyone at this stage experience painful gas and bloating? It's every time I eat, and sometimes just out of the blue. I am also on protonix, which helped initially about 6 mos-1 year after surgery. I've actually experience these problems for sometime, I just thought it was normal - but now its gotten so much worse. It doesn't seem anything will help...tums or rolaids might help a little, but not for long. I haven't contacted my surgeon's office yet - he is actually now out of network with my insurance. I may ask my PCP to schedule an endoscopy. Advice please????

After my sleeve surgery (12/12/16) the bariatric nurse told me that I would not feel hunger for about a year. Was anyone else told that? So the last couple of weeks, I am HUNGRY all the time! Still eating the same, about 100g Protein daily, low carbs, working out and drinking tons of Water. I've lost right at 80 since surgery. Anyone else have this issue? I am scared.... it is truly a struggle, again.

Considering a revision - read this!
Jeriberi30 replied to AnneElliot's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I've only had the sleeve since December. I was banded for 8 years prior to that. The last 5 banded were horrible. So many complications, one thing after another - but couldn't afford a revision. Finally - I was able to have the revision, and I haven't regretted it once. Best decision ever, just wish I could have done it sooner. And at 4 months post-op, I haven't found one food I am unable to eat (in small amounts). Actually wished I had more restriction - but I can work with this for sure!
