Hi Ashley!!! I'm so excited for you. Like you my insurance didn't pay for my surgery but I knew that I needed the surgery bad enough so that I could live a longer and healthier life. I'm from Tx and am 27. My name is Chrissie. Having the lap band surgery on March 12, 2007 was the best choice I have ever made. So far I've lost 34 pounds. Like you, I had been battling my weight since I was about 10 years old. If you ever need support or just have a few questions, please don't hesitate to ask any of us. Hi everyone! I had my lap band surgery on 3/12/07 it is just a little over a month and i've lost 28 lbs. This is the BEST thing I've ever done. Why didn't I do it sooner. I go next week for my first fill. Anyone have any suggestions or anything? Also, I'm new here and how do I add my weight loss ticker to my messages???
