Carrie, Stick with it. The benefits will pay off and you will be saying when you walk past a mirror who is that slim woman! Just remember one day at a time and if you back slide remember to make the next meal healthier. -

Teresa, All is well on my end. My second fill went uneventful. He was able to do it in his office. My weight loss has started up again since that second fill. I am trying to be diligent and exercise at least 3 times a week, so far so go. -

Carrie, You list is looking good. Also make sure you get your Protein in so things like a Protein shake, tuna fish is good but make it with a lot of lowfat mayo so its not dry and wont get stuck. Soups are good and you can put them in a blender. eggs at this point are good for you. Scrambled with cheese, yummy. And eggsalad is good too. I hope this helps you. I dont mean to come off on you hard but sometimes we need a reminder why we even did this. I still do at times too. -

Welcome Amy, Glad you joined us. Good luck on your upcoming surgery. -
Congratulations Estela, there is nothing like feeling 100 confident in yourself.

My doc told me that hiccups mean you are eating too fast and taking in too much air.
-
All I can tell you is it's a band thing. I didnt gurgle til I got mine then it went away but after I got my first fill I've been gurgling every since. I think it has something to do with the upper portion of the stomach where the band is goes around and how fast the water can get down. Like water going down a drain. Not sure just making a guess.
-
I'm not sure what's causing it but I have been very tight since last week. Either my second fill is kicking in or it does have something to do with the weather. I tell you this band is trippy.
-
I got 1 cc the first go round. You will probably want to take it slow until they get the right amount but too much could just cause problems. Let the doctor be the doctor instead of you trying.

If he is a good gastric bypass dr. I wouldn't worry cause that surgery is more complex than the lapband. I was my drs. first lapband but he had done several gastric bypasses. Go for it!
-
Road Queen, I dont know if this applies to you but it might be time for aunt flo and in that case that could account for the tightness.
-
Alex, Sorry to hear you dilemna. Just remember this too shall pass!
-
Thanks for the update Penni. Estela good luck and I'm wishing you a speedy recovery.
-
Parvathi, One more thing to add -- you need to lose the diet cokes. Remember bandsters aren't suppose to drink carbonation.
-
Covered me too in Washington, D.C.

I had Greek salad and watermelon.
-
Vera, Best of luck to you tomorrow. I hope your surgery goes well and pray for a speedy recovery for you.
