Hi fellow Edmontonians!!! Well, i'm from St.Albert, but close enough! I'm 3 weeks out from Surgery. Got it done by dr.almanza. I'm currently at a stall...and it's making me very unhappy. Anyway, glad to see other fell Edmontonians here! I wish everyone the best of luck and much health in their weight loss!

Hi there, i'm so glad someone posted this topic. It's good to know there are others going through this plateau as well! I'm exactly 25 days post op and stepped on the scale and havn't lost anything in about 5 days. I sat on the scale this morning and started crying. Hoping that I didn't go through all this, just to have it be yet another failed weight loss attempt. I guess I just thought i'd be loosing a lot more. I've lost 21 lbs so far, including the 3 day before op fasting I had to do. I didn't realize I'd plateau. It's a bit discouraging.

Hi there, I just had the vsg done by Dr. Almanza last Friday and since then swallowing is kinda painful. it almost feels like a lump in my back and chest when I swallow. does anybody else have this problem? and do you know what it could be? Thanks!
