I was sleeved 4 months ago and luckily o haven't had to much problems. I do hiccup as I am getting to a very full point I have heard others say that taking the meds for the indigestion helps with the hungry feeling so maybe someone else will see this and be able to give u more info but I was taking meds for this before surgery so not sure sorry -

August 2011 Gastric Sleevers!
peanut replied to meggspeggs's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was sleeved on august 18 th and I'm down 47 lbs. I only have about 20 more to go I did mine for health reasons but my bmi was a 34 when I had it done. The weight loss has slowed to a crawl but to be honest I haven't helped it any. I still have problems getting my protein in daily and water is nonexistent so I really need to start excersing and drink water -

2 weeks out: What I Wish I knew Then (i.e. pre-op)
peanut replied to A Little Less Dave's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had a drain for 3 days. My surgery was great no pain or gas. Only uncomfortable from the incisions. Now I am told that I did really great but another lady that had the same thing cried for 2 days because of the gas pain. I had surgery on 08/18/11 so I am still new. I took a month off work and so glad I did. I am still tired so much of the time but I do feel better each day and I also have problem getting my fluids and proteins in daily I am down 22 lbs as of Saturday so overall I am very happy with my sleeve. And the head hunger does suck I agree burger king and other fast food ads will drive u crazy lol -
The nurse told me it was fine but to be honest I was a huge Coffee drinker but since surgery I haven't really wanted It.

I use carecredit and when I tried to up the limit they Wouldn't let me so I applied for a second card ( 2nd account ) And was approved. So maybe they would approve u for Another account. Or sometimes the small loan company's Don't look at scores they look at how the bills are paid. I was a self pay so I totally get ur problems. Have faith That it will work out
