Bubblebelly - have you called your surgeons office? You shouldn't have that much problems drinking any amount of water. It was good that you took in the applesauce, but I am a week out and am drinking tons of fluids and eating mushies. Please call your drs office and just ask them if that is normal for you! Let me know, I will be looking forward to hearing what the dr had to say!
-
I was sleeping on the recliner too, then moved to bed. I was able to lay on my favorite side last night, just too scared to sleep like that. Hubby isn't sleeping good either, he is afraid of touching me! LOL
-
My dr makes his own proetein shakes, and it has 21 grams and I add 8 grams with my milk and have a 29 oz one. My dr only says I need 25 grams of protein a day - doesn't that seem low?
-
Suzannajoy - I hope that your day goes well. I am sure it will. There is tons of info on this site! Best one I have found yet! Good luck to you and I will look forward to hearing from you again! Good luck to tomorrow's bandsters! Lapitup, marywalker20, mandi78, claramae, caressarn and kagoscuba! Please log on as soon as you can! We look forward to hearing from you all!
-
DArranga - sorry I got you confused with Darr5380 - so close and so many drugs LOL - Just kidding. Good to know that if I need a good romance novel to check with you. How long have you been doing it? How many books do you have out now? Does your hubby inspire the books, or your imagination? Darr5380 - I have my baby with me 24-7. I kinda wished I had out him in a mothers day out or something, but he is my helper. Especially if I drop something. I am doing great, I feel so much better. The only problem I am having is sleeping through the night...any one else with this problem? I am taking a pain pill tonight just to help "comfort" me. I have lost 15 lbs since the surgery on 9-19 and I feel great!
-
I too want meat! Any kind I can get! I still have more time to wait though before I get it. Pizza sounds good too....LOL
-
darragha - my two year old wants me to love on him. He is always lifting up my shirt, and says "Owwweeee" and does a shhhhh after it. He checks on it all day long but reminds him that he has to be easy with me. He has kicked me twice today - our first day alone after surgery - in my stomach playing while changing his diaper. It is something to work with for sure! Good luck to you and your toddler. Are you a stay at home mommy too?
-
wow Tulip - don't beat yourself up. It will all come off. Just try to remember small portions. I too am HUNGRY all the time! I am still on my soft not quite mushies stage. I want to eat all the time too. I am limiting myself to my three meals and slow eatting. I hope that your fill helps you. My dr doesn't do fills for THREE MONTHS after the surgery! I still have a long way before I get filled! Woohoo Kimmie - I bet you were happy! Isn't funny how excited we get over the littlest of things?
-
Chocolatesnaps - I totally know your feelings. I hope that you had a great surgery and up walking walking walking to get those gas pains out! Update us as soon as you can with your progress! Wow supermomof4 - I am sorry to hear that you aren't feeling that great. Gas pain is only gone by walking, I hated every minute of it, but the more I walked the better I felt. The diarrhea on the other hand, I have no solution for. Have you tried to call your drs office? Time4me - please let us know how your dr appt went. I hope it all goes well. I too had the problems breathing and sharp pains. It was gas for me. Hopefully it will be the same for you. Good luck and let us know as soon as possible!

Gurly girl - thanks so much! I truly care and want to hear from everyone! You all have carried me through this all too! Thanks so much! I am doing much better today and got out and walked for 30 mins with my boys. It felt good! I am doing much better! How about you? My neck never bothered me, just left shoulder. Way to go Eastxnurse! You are awesome! Keep up the good work! Kellymovingon - that is great that you were able to get on here! I have been worried about you! There was no way I could have gotten on here the day after surgery! Are you feeling it from gas, just keep moving girlfriend! Wow legalmandy you are a trooper too! Thanks for the quick update! I hope that you heal quickly! My incisions weren't bad, just the nausea and gas were horrible! Keep checking in please! Amber, wow - did your doctor ok you to go back so soon? I was told at least 6 weeks! I was even doing some gym work before the surgery (not 2 miles on that pain in the butt machine though) Take it easy, you have lots of time to get that rock hard body!

I understand that one! I am sitting up all day, but in a recliner. I did go run errands with hubby today. And oldest son has a football game tonight, hopefully going to do well with it. I haven't had to take many pain pills. I did this morning, just so I could sleep! I miss my sleep, I am totally an 8-10 hour a night kinda girl!

I am a stay at home mommy though (to a 2 year old) and he is going to work me into the ground! I have lost 13 lbs since my surgery of the 19. I was not required to do a pre-op, so I lost all mine afterward!

Hi all you newbies! I am sorry that I haven't been able to get on and update. I had my surgery on 9/19 - wink wink! I will add you all to the updated September bandster list and look forward to hearing more from all of you!
-
Kellymovingon - Thanks for thinking about me! I am doing much better. Just took it real easy. I had terrible gas pain and nausea, doing much better. Going to even attempt wal-mart today with hubby and kids! Wish me luck! Are you nervous yet? The only advice I can give is walk walk walk..even if you don't feel like it. It helps move the gas so easily!
-
Wow - so much has happened since I was banded. I am taking notes and writing it all down! Kellymovingon, thanks for keeping up for me! You all are doing so wonderful! I was banded on 9/19 and had a problem with nausea. I am doing much better. Make sure to walk walk walk. That will help so much. I got to have yogurt this morning and it tasted so good! I have lost 12 pounds since last wednesday! I feel great! I hope you all have great success as well!
-

I hope you surgery goes well with a quick recovery! Good luck to September 21 bandsters! supermamaof4, time4me, puglvr4life, tillykins, Chris 77, darr5380 and singingoffkey! Good luck everyone! I wish you all the best!

EL1 - I have also heard that the milicon drops for babies is good for adults too! My cousin used that instead of the gas x or the mylanta. Hopefully that will give you some relief!
