Phyl - I have changed my mind about looking at it as a good reason. It's scene time. I would demand a fill. I'd show up and tell them get it done or I'm gonna throw a fit up in here. I ain't waiting no 2 months. AWWWWW Hell NO!!!! What triggers my eating? It's food. I see it, I want it. Everyone else is eating. Why I gotta be the fat one? Why did I decide to band? Cause I'm tired of being the fat one. I was gonna get a breast reduction this summer. A friend who has enormous bazonkas like me got one. Now you can really see how fat she is. I figured why do that when I'll still be fat. At least now I hide behind the bazonkas. Plus my daughter is getting older. I will not stuff this package in a size 24 or above mother of the bride dress.

Phyl - Sorry you have to wait, but lets look at this from "things happen for a reason." If they are having trouble not using flouro that could mean they have been sticking people's bands. My fill is Tues. and I don't know if they use flouro, but I have been obsessing. I think.... if they don't use it and they stick my band, then it's ruined. Who pays to fix it? Cause I paid cash. The nurse does the fills at my office. I know it sucks to wait but at least it gonna be done right. I don't know if anyone else had this experience with their doctor. I saw mine at the initial lapband conference. Then I saw him at my preop. and that's it. I will probably never see him again. I didn't see him on surgery day. I was last. He didn't even tell my husband I was done. And he doesn't do fills. Take the money and Run!

Hey Citygirl - I was banded 7/24. The ends of my port incision took a long time to heal. It had scabs and then white threads popped out on each end. I pulled out the threads with a tweezer. It was two about 3/4 of an inch long. Then it finally healed. I read that the inside stiches coming out is common, they are supposed to dissolve.

Hello Everyone, We went camping this weekend. Shannon - My 1st fill is the 10th. I have been HUNGRY all the time for at least a week now. I have zero restriction. I am pretty sure I could eat anything including a small horse. I go to bed every night hungry. I'm hungry now.

Marcy and Laurend - Congrats on the losses!!!!! Marcy - A family chicken story. When my Mom and Dad first got married she wanted to make chicken for dinner. He was at work, and she was not a farm raised girl. She had to kill a chicken. She tried, and she couldn't do it. The chicken ran around with his neck crooked until my Dad got home.

Kathy - Adorable family Aunty Phil - nailing Jello to a tree, what a hoot, I'm gonna use that one! Night everyone, my computer is in my kids room cause my Mom now lives in the computer room. He's gripeing (sp?) at me to get lost. I can't see the keys in the dark anyway. ssankofa - I can't find a port anywhere. I'm about to smack my kid, like going to sleep for school is that freakin important. Teenagers these days.

Sunny - I'm soooo sorry about your baby. I dread the day we lose ours. Today a friend sent me an email of a chihauhau. She is long hair, white, with brown ears and a perfect brown heart shaped spot on her side. Lynette - Utterly Ridiculous!!! Who the hell gives a 3 year old scissors? I would be concerned about this preschool. They have already made you feel your child is lacking. What are they going to do to his self esteem? And nothing is wrong with him, he sounds very smart. Are these kind of test normal now? Kindergarten used to be for learning how to use scissors.

Intense Dreams Since Banding 1 Week Ago
mango24 replied to wclark1215's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hi Will, It's the drugs. I only took the pain meds for 4 days because of the dreams. I stopped taking them when I dreamed someone was stealing my chair. I woke up grabbing for it and screaming chair. -
Welcome YummieT My doc says between 50 to70 grams of protien a day. Make sure you get enough it will hold down hunger. You can get unflavored protien to add to your mushies at GNC. Night All..

Opps I hit the wrong button I wasn't finished. Their is another thread on this site that list what has change for you since you lost weight. I have Fish Oil in large capsules, I guess I'll have to pop them or go buy liquid.
-
Kathy their is a before and after thread maybe called...Pictures only Also on bariatriceating they have a load of before and after pics. It even has 2 obese cats, it's a hoot. One of them no longer eats high carb Meow Mix.

Chim - I'm trying 1tsp Olive oil tomorrow, it's not a lot of cals. and your supposed to have the right fats. Aunty Phil - sorry about Mr. Bossy. Maybe he's just scared if you do something wrong you'll hurt yourself. Maybe he's just worried. My husband never says a word about my weight or what I eat. He knows better. If Mama ain't happy ain't nobody happy.
-
Chim - I think it's a combination of no fiber and no fat. I wonder if a spoon of olive oil a day would help.
-
Lynette - I made the chicken salad yesterday. The whole family loved it. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem......I can't go. I'm miserable. I have been taking benefiber for 2 days, no help. I just bought some high fiber cereal. I'll eat it every day for breakfast. Can a person live taking MOM for maybe life?? Ohhhh Whoaaaa is me.

Mango, why would they code that as cosmetic? It was just a dr. appointment, right. That was stupid on their part. I wouldn't pay either. Hope I did not offend on my post earlier. I was supposed to be self pay, and I never in a million years thought they would pay it, especially when it was excluded right there in black and white under my exclusion clause. I think it should be covered for everyone. I was just so darn excited, I wasn't thinking about the other self payers on here, so I do apologize. Lynette - I'm not offended silly. I'm happy for you. I gladly paid for this and would do it again without hesitation. It was my graduation present for getting my masters and a promotion. Although I do work in the bowels of hell.

cazulay - I'm in New Orleans area Felicia - So sorry to hear about your Dad. I pray he will be fine. itzonlyme - How cool is that, you and your daughter together, Wow! Lorna - Welcome and hope everything is O.K. Kristeno7 - I had some chocolate. I count my calories on Sparkpeople. As long as I don't go over 1000, I'm gonna eat what I want, protien 1st. I try to stay around 800 daily. I am not gonna torture myself, this thing is for life. Lynette - You lucky DAWG you. I'm freakin jealous. My cheap ass teacher's insurance ain't gonna pay a freakin dime. And this week I get a bill from my primary doctor for 80.00. I had to get clearance from him. They coded my visit as cosmetic surgery instead of my once a year freakin visit to him to get my freakin prescriptions filled. I go to the doctor once a freakin year, and my insurance is 150.00 a freakin month. They are gonna recode it properly, or they can wait till hell freezes over for the 80.00. Do you sense a little aggravation here. And I had to wait 3 months for a freakin appointment with him. The Nerve!!

Indigo girl - Way to go!!!! :whoo: Jackie - Congrats!!!! :clap2: Dini - Bruises, tell your doctor. It might be a vitamin deficiency. Fat next Summer??? Marcy - How much do you have to pay for our crayfish? Suckers in the South, dats right sha, we pinching da tails and sucking the heads!!! The one thing I'd miss about this burning hellhole is our great seafood. It don't get no better. Except nobody's knocking at my door giving me freebies, dag nabbit!!!

Sunny - I went to Wal-Greens a little while ago to get my benefiber. I having problems too. I also bought some Sugar Free Chocolate, after work tomorrow I'll eat a piece and see what it does. It works like ex lax for some people. I was reading messages on obesityhelp about stiches that pop out. If they don't dissolve inside they will work out the skin like a pimple, or an ingrown hair. Chim - My daughter and I also make the scarves. I've made a few. Everytime we wear them someone says where did you get that? only4me - Thanks for lunch tomorrow! I have ricotta and leftover spaghetti sauce in the fridge.
-
NewCC and Jackie, I also think the bullets taste like crap, but they have a lot of protien. I make a sugarfree drink and put an oz of the bullet in it. It eliminates the yucky, salty taste.
-
Thanks Jackie, I've just noticed the chest pain since I went back to work. It kind of makes me nervous.
-
Hi Everybody, This is my 2nd week post-op, and second day back to work. I have 2 questions. 1. I have mild chest pain like where the band is. It's not constant, and it's only been 14 days. Is this normal? 2. Can I add Fiber to my liquids? Like benefiber? I need it!!
-
Ya'll are making me nervous about the amount I am eating. At one time I can eat 2 scrambled eggs, or 1 cup cream of wheat, or 1 cup oatmeal. Should I be nervous?? I really worried I'm stretching something? Do you think that's possible with this amount? Chim said two Tbsp eggs made her full, that doesn't work for me.

Sunny - This is how she fried butter. This girl was on showing it to her, cause she made it up. She flavored butter, then froze it in balls, then battered it, then froze again, then fried. Sounds gross to me. Her sons were in N.O. for their show on today. I wish someone woulda told me when they were here. Dag nabbit!!!!!
