Hello Everyone, My A/C downstairs is not working so I'm sweating like a heffer. Plus I just exercised so I'm extra sweating, I'm working up a nice stench!!! Thank God my house is two story, so the heat rises. If is wasn't we'd be dying. Steph- I told my DD your fingernail story. She said, "Yeah, it happens." I guess it happens a lot wherever she comes from. Last year my DS was riding his bike while we were camping and something stung him on the lip. His bottom lip swoll up the the Bubba in Forrest Gump. I went back to work Friday. I truly hate it. This year is gonna suck. I told ya'll at the end of the year I pissed off the cop at our school. Guess he'll take it out on me this year. I was hoping to go to another school. :teeth_smile:

Steph - I tried the cottage cheese thing, but I feel I stopped eating because I had enough, but not because I was full. Hard to explain but not full as in no more can fit, because I have basically no restriction. Dammit, my paragraph just disappeared. I went in Monday, I thought the nurse was gonna investigate, but she just did a fill. I now have 8cc., which seems like A LOT to me. If I still feel no restriction, I will insist on an xray Bowzer from Sha na na is on TV right now, I haven't seen him in years. He reminds me of Ray Ramono's brother Robert. Glad to see everyone made it home safe. Janet, my QVC coat came in this afternoon, I may send it back for a size smaller. I love it.

Think of being hungry at night as a good thing. I heard Bob Green on Oprah say it means your losing weight. Stop eating at a certain time each day.

The nurse assist just called me back. She said the nurse took out .4 before my surgery. My 1st fill after surgery she put back .3, and the fill on Monday she put in another .4. I told her I am freakin because I was quite tight before surgery and now I feel nothing and my year is up. She scheduled me for an evaluation next Monday. I am not hungry, but I think it's because I'm very nervous. I can not go back to being fat again. Not again!!!! I'm going exercise again. You gals have fun, party for us!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell yeah, I'm planning on Vegas next year. I have been wanting to go to Vegas for about 3 years.

Steph - Me and Dh went to dance lessons last night, and I knew I had to stop at the store on the way home for something. I was thinking on the way home, I can get the bread crumbs for the turkey burgers tomorrow, I'm not stopping. I totally forgot the real reason I had to stop was for the cottage cheese. Last night I made turkey meatloaf and I was testing my restriction. I ate about 3/4 cup meatloaf then about 9 rice cakes. Didn't feel restriction, so I drank some water, it went right through. So I wanted to test it further. I put some peanut butter on a slice of bread, ate it then drank water with no problem. If my pouch was full and I tried water I would PB. I feel I have no restriction. Peanut butter on bread would not go down if I had restriction. I'm going call my nurse now with my concerns. Salsa- I saw your skin picture...AHHHHH AHHHHH AHHHHHH. You are very brave, there is no way in hell I could look at what they cut off me. I'd faint!! It is 7 weeks for me and I still swell.

No, It's is just chewed up food. Your pouch doesn't have stomach acids in it.

Hello Everyone, I have been keeping up with the post, but I haven't posted in a while. I've been depressed. Janet - You're gonna be fine hunny, I just know it. I'll say a little prayer. Phyl - your pictures look great, you have done superbly! Steph- your pictures look great too!!!!!! Congratulations everyone on your bandiversairies!! (sp?) Mine is tomorrow. I just got a fill on Monday. I told her I have very little restriction. I can eat a 6" subway. She said, "Oh my." I'll check your whole amount." So she pulls it out and says, "Oh my, I wasn't expecting that." You have it all still. Then she leaves the needle in and goes check my chart and says, "have you ever been too tight." I said once in the beginning, and I had some removed. So she says I'll give you a big fill. So now I have 7.5. Since yesterday, I have been FREAKIN OUT. I spent hours last night reading about stretched pouch. I don't understand why I have so little restriction when she only removed a little for surgery, I have more in now. I was tight before surgery. If she suspected something she should have said. After tomorrow, I will have to pay cash. I have been shopping since last night in honor of the MoA trip I can't go on. I got five pairs of shoes. Everythings on sale!!!!! I got a sweater, a silk shirt, and beautiful size 12 pants at Talbots. All on sale!!!!!!!!!! I just about set to go back to school. I go back next week. UGGGGHHHHH!!! :thumbup: Janet- I got a animal print flat fur coat last night from QVC. Oh, by the way, last night on the food channel the new road show with the Neeley's was in Minneapolis.

I will not go w/o it. I have about 800 dollars worth of work that needs to be done. I'm waiting. IMO - and no one can talk me out of it, when my generation was coming up we went to the dentist every 6 months. Every freakin time we went we had cavities. 3 this time, 2 this time. I firmly believe our good teeth were filled just to make money. My children went every six months and each one has 1 small filling. My husband and I have a mouth full of fillings. It's pathetic! You just had major surgery, you still have drains in, and you go to the store. WTH, the only walking you should be doing is around the inside of the house every once in a while to prevent bloodclots. Do you realize the truama your body has just gone through? You need to get a book and let your body heal. If you don't, it's going to revolt.

I'm taking couple dance lessons with hubby. I don't wear elastic waistbands anymore. I don't have to shop in plus sizes. I will get in a pool if front of others. I can stay under water longer without continually floating to the top. I do bad things to my hubby, with a smile on my face and the light on. I let my hubby see me naked.

I'm doing it because I have no restriction. I'm hungry. All I think about is food. I do not want to gain back the weight I lost with the BR before my next fill. I'm hungry. Stratch that, I'm starving. I'm going pray. The hospital social worker called to ask about the services for my Mom. I told her that she has no one to take care of her if she is sent home without being able to get out of bed. The lady said she will write that on the chart for her doctor.

Hi Everyone, Phyl - How bizarre? I just logged on and guess what? I started the 5 day pouch test today. Is that a coincidence or what? It's going to be hard because I don't have much restriction. I can eat a 6in Subway sandwich, bread and all. I wish I would have told the fill nurse to put everything she took out pre surgery back in. I was soooo tight before, I was scared. Now I don't know how long it's going take to get restriction again. AND, my next fill is my last free fill. Karri - You look great!! Glad you don't have much pain. It's probably because you're in such good shape. I've heard a TT is painful. My Mom is still is the hospital. She's not even allowed to get out of bed. I'm really worried that they are going to send her home with those restrictions.

Peaches, sorry about your Mom. I just got back from the hospital. My Mom had to go in. Her leg has been swollen. It's a blood clot an it's also infected (cellutitus). She's 77.

Hey Everybody, I haven't been here in a few days. Thursday we had a really bad storm roll through. It lightened big time. I think the house or something right outside got hit. We lost 3 T.V.'s, the cable modem (no internet), 2 telephones, and my alarm system is screwed up. The motion sensor stays on. We went Thursday night to get a small T.V. at Walmart. I used a credit card so the man had to check my license. He said, "This doesn't look anything like you, but I'll let it go." So I looked at it, he's right, it looks like a fat ole lady. Ain't that a freakin hoot !!!!!

Hello All, Have fun Janet, the dress is really pretty. DH took the tape of the incisions. The tape around my nipples pulled the top layer of my skin off. It hurts like a M$%*&@ %#%#%!!! I'm not putting the damn tape back on. I wish I could get in my pool.

Hi MaryRose, I just got a BR on June 6th, 15 days ago. Go to Makemeheal.com. You can go on the BR message boards to read all about it. You should plan on doing nothing for a minimum of 2wks. No lifting, I had to take pain meds for a least the first week. The pain meds. were the worst part. They really made me feel sick. I am very happy with the results. I'm still sore, insisions are not totally healed.

Good Morning Everyone, Naaa, I'm joking, I've been up since 12:30. I am very sore today, guess I over did it yesterday. I drove myself to the mall, went to Dillards, got a pair of shoes, a purse, and a bathing suit. I just couldn't stay home one more day. Also went to dance lessons last night. I missed last week. Couple danced for about 30 minutes. I'm paying for this today. Not bad, but sore. DH had to change my tape last night. The PS puts this sticky brown tape on all my insisions and says change it every 2 days. Why, why, why do I have to put tape on cuts and then pull it off, why. I cried just a little, and felt very nauseous and light headed. Nauseouse is a work, I CAN'T SPEElee O.K., about pain meds. They have been the worse part of this whole ordeal. I hate them. How do people get addicted to that horrid shit. Anyway, I have learned that most of the pain meds we have all taken are already mixed with acetometaphin. So, do not take Tylenol with pain meds. Taking even a smigeon too much of acetometaphin is dangerous, DANGEROUS. Vicodin, Loritab, Percocet all have aceto..... in them. O.K. that's another word I can't spellllele. You know if alcohol worked as pain meds. it would be better to take, the side effects are much less. This medical advice is 4 dollars, please send cash or money order to me. I vote tell no one. Hubby, that's it. If you change your mind a year or two later then tell. But if you tell before, you can never take it back. I wish I had told no one. I regret telling.

I would confront her at work and say, "If you EVER embarrass me like that again, I will KNOCK the shit out of you, and when you pick your skinny ass up off the floor I'll say, "That was because I love you!"
