Great!! I love the idea Kristin Thanks!!!
  21. I think you need to sit and talk to your wife first, discuss with her the subject, showing her success stories here and in other WLS boards so she can see by herself the benefits of weight loss surgery. Your wife needs to understand that you are under some serious health conditions now and that is the solution to your battle with obesity. WLS is not an easy way like Ophelia said above. Is a hard work and dedication ,surgery is just a tool ,diet and proper exercise are the keys to be successful after surgery. I hope they can understand that is for your own well being and for a new healthy you

    I Need Help

I agree with Diva . If you start eating any solid food before your tummy swollen goes down, some of those foods can get stuck in your staple line, causing an infection . Plus when you start on mushies/ soft foods you should eat your protein first and then veggies and bread should be avoid for a few months after surgery,I heard does not go down well at first. I hated my 4 weeks of liquid diet but I hang in there. Later you will see that many surgeons recommend this liquid diet before and after to help you lose weight and to help with your tummy recovery. Good luck!!!!
