It's fine down there. Tijuana a big city and there's going to be crime in any big city in the world. I live in Los Angeles and we used to be the murder capitol of he US. I have no reservations about traveling south of the border.

    Shoe Size....

You will lose in width, but not length. I'm a size 10 and so are all the supermodels! ps - I'm a shoe-***** too.
  8. I don't know if you are still interested in this topic, but I have made an observation. The people traveling for surgeries in Mexico usually have no post-op follow-up in Mexico. So if you are uninsured, there is not medical follow-up unless you pay out of pocket in the US. Could be a problem for a lot of folks down the line.
  9. Hi Suzanne - I'm Shevy (yes, like the car but with an "S". LOL my email is sundy65@yahoo.com Look forward to hearing from you. Tell me how your pre op diet is going...... ;-)

    Hello....I am a newbie here!

Hi There! I'm having my surgery in Mexico. VGS there costs anywhere from 4,500$ to 8,000$. You fly into a border town, you are p/u at the airport and then dropped back there afterwards 3 days later. There are many forums here that can give you oodles of info. I deserve to live the live of my dreams and I'm going for it!!! Don't give up, if you truly want something I believe the UNIVERSE will conspire for you to have it. Just stay the the course. xxoo Suzanne aka BEACH BABY
  11. Can you send me a link as to how I can paste the ticker HTML to a signature? Nothing in Help on that topic. Thanks

I was only telling a few people. But a friend of mine said that I should let those that are close to me know or they will be disappointed. I have told maybe 8 or so. But I think I should of stuck with my gut and I can tell em later. I have been to Baja California many, many times and love it. I could care less on which side of the border I'm getting my medical care. My surgeon is Dr. Rodriguez and I'm being sleeved on the 19th. I'm driving in and driving out.

I'm finding that lots of folks are horrified that I am going to Mexico for surgery. I live in Los Angeles, we practically are in Mexico, it's only 2 hours away. I can't take the naysayers.
  15. This little box you type in has a very limited space for typing. Now I know why know one uses it. Am going back to the August board.
