My wife and I went to Mexico 5 month ago for the lapband. Sometimes the weight loss seems to be going so slow. Looking back in seem we have done well I had lost 62lbs and Debbie has lost 43lbs a total of 105lbs. In the last 3 years we have lost over 230lbs. Life is different for us. We enjoy the new us. I have gone from a 60 Long suit to a 46 long and Debbie has gone from a size 28 dress to a 14-16.

Thanks for asking. Thing are some better. Still having trouble with meet. This is a learning process.

Last week my father had a heart attack. I went from Chicago to Knoxville to be with him. He became worse an Passed away on Feb 20th. It has been a very hard time for my family. I have had a bad time with my band. I have not been able to keep any meat down for the last 2 weeks. It seems the only things I can keep down are things that are bad for you (like pie) comfort foods. I have been pbing 10 times a day at least. I am not sure if it is nerves or I just to tight.

I did liquids and I am doing better. I have only PBed 1 or 2 times in the last few days. You all are great support.

Maybe we will try it again later. It was not a good week for anyone.

We are trying to plan a dinner next Sat. evening Feb 19th. We are looking at going the the Cheesecake factory in Oakbrook. We were thinking about 6PM before it gets to busy. If you can make it let let us know so we can plan for it. It will just be fellowship and time to talk. Dinner is dutch treat. We look forward to meeting some of you for this area. What if we just get together for dinner one Saturday. My wife and I do not no anyone that has had this surgery. We would not have to do a complete bash. Just go out to eat dutch treat. Any takers

Let's try to make this work. We would enjoy meeting you all. Will the Cheese cake factory work for everyone. It will work for us. We can travel if needed. We are coming in from Aurora. It is only 30 min. to Oakbrook and 1hr the downtown.

This is the beginning of a great new life. There are some good before and afters pic's on here today. They are so encouraging. After you make it through the first 6 weeks. Finding your good fill point is very imporant. A good fill makes all the difference.

Where is the cheese cake factory in Oakbrook. We love the one downtown. Could you check and see if they will take a small group.

A week ago I had my second fill it took me to 2.8cc. I have lost 10lbs this week. I get full so fast. I can't eat solid meat yet only hamburger or chicken salad. I to can feel my drink going through. I have been losing all along because we have been doing low carb, but now it seems to be easy. A tight fill makes all the difference.

I just had my second fill. I have 2.8cc and have good restriction now. My question is I have a 4cc band If I get up to 4cc in fill and still have weight to loss what happens. I was stocked to be at 2.8cc on my second fill. My wife just got her first fill and it was 1cc. She has alot of room to go and only has 30 pound or so to lose. I wondered if anyone has ever been filled to the max. We have been working with our bands. We totally believe in Low Carb. We have come so far, but still want to reach goal. Time is on our side.

We lost weight before the surgery on low carb. I have lost 46 and Deb 37 since Oct 4th.

I'm 3 months post op. I have lost 40lbs. I have not lost anthing for 3 weeks. My problem is early in the day everything I eat comes back up, but later in the day I can over eat. I often eat why to much at night. I am afraid if I get a fill I will not be able to eat anthing until night. My wife is having her first fill next week. I may go to. I'm just wondering if this is strange to not be able to eat early in the day and be able to eat to much in the evenings.
