I just saw this post for the first time and i just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS to all of you. It is so great that there are so many of you going through this at the same time and that you can be there to support each other. I am only half way there right now but I know I will need a TT in the end. I had oxford when I had my surgery. I have heard people say that oxford is a banders best friend. My surgery was six months ago. I don't know if anything has changed since then or not but I didn't have to do the 6 month diet at all.

cj I feel the same way you do. Just remember to make sure you are still getting enough protein in. That is the one thing WW doesn't really talk about. Last time I was on WW I did not pay any attention to whether or not I was getting enough protein in and my hair fell out. Once I went off weight watchers all my hair came back. Since being banded I 've been very careful with protein and haven't had a problem yet. When I'm writing down what I ate and adding my points I just add the grams of protein next to it to make sure I still get 60 grams.
