Hey everyone, My name is Dan, and I am new to this forum. I am 37 years old and have struggled with my weight for many years like many of you. I have already gone through the 6 mandatory months, of therapy and submitted my request to the insurance company "Auxiant" and was approved immediately to my surprise. I meet with my surgeon on the 11th of July and my surgery date is July 26th 2011.

Thanks everyone, And as I figure out how to navigate better through the forum, I will be more involved. I am very excited about my upcoming surgery, and would enjoy sharing the excitement and any new fears that may pop up in the next couple of weeks. I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th.
