So Frustrated With Eating Out!
FishingNurse replied to Ms skinniness's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I feel the exact same way.... I usually feel better about it if I don't order my own entree. Sharing helps me a lot :-) for the most part I love my sleeve just wish once in a while I could eat a few more bites! -
I feel like starting at 5 or 6 months I could eat semi-normal amounts of food. :-) still a fraction of what it was but its now not worrisome to others.

Revision After 5 Months
FishingNurse replied to luvs2lose's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I personally don't think you are jumping the gun. I am a nurse in a clinic and I have seen about 10 people get the band in the last 4 years and NOT ONE of them are happy with or have lost more than 30lbs. 30lbs!!!!! This sleeve is the best thing I ever did for myself personally. I am less than 10lbs from goal- I have no side effects, I didnt go bald, I have zero loose skin, and I am in a size 10 for the first time since I was 8 years old. -

Fat Consumption For A Day..
FishingNurse replied to VJSlim's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
personally., I always eat the "normal" everything since we each such small quanities. More and more studies show that low fat is not great for you. When they make low fat and fat free things like mayo and dressings they just add sugar and other toxic waste. I am so close to goal and never use low fat anything. I of course do not go over board but I think many WLS patients do not eat enough healthy fat. I am not encouraging everyone to eat a bunch of deep fried food or anything but I think natural small quanities of fat has helped keep m,y body satisified and helped my skin and hair-- and has kept me healthy overall. -

What Happens To Me After Eating A Meal
FishingNurse replied to Rico's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes this is called foaming. Others will get sliming instead. It's your bodies way of trying to lubricate/ move the food in the overfilled new stomach you have. -
I love this soup and I have eaten a ton post op!!! The only con is the sodium..... but hey whatever works.

Whats The Skinny? Saturday
FishingNurse replied to Lilee84's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would day the first 3-4 months the weight DOES fall off effortlessly but after that you have to work to lose the rest and be careful cause YOU CAN regain! When the scale creeps up a pound I am sure to make good choices until I am back in my comfort place (in he 170's) Its my goal to be 169.9 or less for the rest f my life and I am going to have to work to get these last 8lbs off!!!! -
Hair Dye And Hair Loss
FishingNurse replied to Tina293's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I get my hair foiled every six weeks like clockwork. I don't think it impacted how much has fallen out. I did lose A LOT of a hair, but at nearly 7 months I still look good, and I am getting regrowth already -
