I would love to join a support group but can't say that i will have time.. maybe once in awhile.. i live clear out in topeka so it'd be a longer journey for me. .. and working two jobs and having six children i don't get much extra time...

I didn't know they could do this.. how short are you? I'm 5'4" and weigh 268.... I havn't heard of a doctor asking you that..

Thanks cissie... i will have to purchase one today.. as mine is in another state and rush that delivery... I swear our passport agency should get an F - for their customer service communication.. I've never been not able to talk to someone about a delivery or item purchased anywhere else.. Literally they tell you it is being processed that's all they know and they can't tell you anything else.. there is no one else to talk to or email call back next week is what they say.. what day and age is this?? It's just crazy .. now i have to go spend 52.00 to just get another birth certificate barely in time.. ughhh sorry i'm frustrated.. thanks for letting me vent!! :-)

Congrats on getting your date.. now the fun begins... I am having surgery on May 3rd as well.. I've been on my own pre diet of slim fast.. unjury shakes and light meals.. at first it was really hard the first two days.. but now i'm finally feeling fuller for longer periods of time and not like i'm starving!! i can't beleive it' s only two weeks away...i'm very ready and excited for that day to come!!

Yes i purchased it for my Nook e reader... and its full of really good information.. i was impressed.. although i'm not going to dr. alvarez he has very good info in the book i felt like i got my ten dollars worth for sure!!

That 's great you've chosen a great surgeon and i will definetly be sharing my experience i plan on doing some youtube filming.... I started my preop diet which i defined myself i really didn't have to start anything till 3 days before but i wanted to try to lose some before going to recover better... Hopefully you weren't around on Saturday it was pretty crazy weather here.. Congrats to your son Ottawa is not too far away from Topeka that's where i'm at...How did he choose ottawa if you don't mind me asking? I've got a son that is graduating high school this year and he is attending Washburn University in the fall as well.. but that's right here in Topeka.

two more days and i will be two weeks away i'm getting real excited too... Been starting to get a small coffee instead of a large and hoping in a week to cut myself off.. it's soo hard.. i have been a lifelong everyday coffee drinker I started taking my unjury shakes and they taste fabulous.. i tried chocolate the last two days and oh my they are so chocolatey!!! I hope they taste just as yummy after surgery. I've been doing sorta bad at dinner time ... it's hard when the hubby makes great dinners. Also been trying to get into the habit of using myfitnesspal again.. thanks janneth for all your motivation.. it really does help to see what you put down... Well time to go make sure the kido's are getting to bed!!

I also made my first youtube video.. if you'd like to watch and give me any feedback *smiles* :0) Today i will already be getting in 70grams of Protein by drinking two slimfast's with protein... added in a scoop of the unflavored powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury protein and it tastes really good.. my 7 year old saw me making it and wanted some too so i gave her a little bit she loved it so much she said that's not fair you get alot more than me.. so i made her a cup full.. she thinks it tastes like chocolate milk lol. So excited i have like 19days till surgery... over the last year i was beginning to wonder if it would happen at all. .and now to be down to only 19 days is soooooo exciting to me!!!!!! Has anyone started any preop diet yet? This is going to be mine.. two slimfasts with a good meal in between... i also need to use up the rest of my herbalife shake card.. we have a store here right by my work called blended for better health.. they have the best tasting shakes ever.. I'm very happy with the unjury so far can't taste a difference at all.. the small cup i made for my daughter i didn't put the unjury in.. and it tasted the same... I got the starter pack too so i will see what flavors i like or don't like so i can order the big containers of it. So anyways.. heading off to work this morning at the salon taking my shake with me and we'll see how fully or hungry i am.. hope you all have a great day... I am getting sleeved on the third as well.. but i'm just now starting my slim fast diet not so great last two days.l good all the way up until dinner i don't know what it is.. but probably in my head i think i should be eating more at dinner... I figure by the time thursday comes around i will need to get it down pat.. so hard to get out of old habits!!!

I'm just doing it because i have done it before and lost a bunch of weight for the first two or three weeks.. and that's all i'm looking to accomplish here.. by that time i'll be to my surgery and will have lost hopefully 10-15 pounds... it wasn't a bad day.. didn't get starving hungry thankfully!! 36.........class of 94 (the best) lol... really might go to the 20th reunion now.. or not lol... Geez has it really been that long since we graduated high school??? My son's getting ready to graduate this year.. life goes by so fast.. that's why i'm so excited to get my sleeve i'm ready to live in the life i always dream of not just wish endlessly for it to get here. Getting sleeved May 3rd, Dr. Ponce De Leon Tijuana, Mexico...................................................nice to see others my age on here.. getting this done!!!!!

I have my unjury on it's way this week... went to the store and bought my sf Popsicles and jello.. i think i'm ready for my first month...............on thursday i'll be three weeks away... time to go to the store and get my slim fast.. i will be slim fasting it from there on out.. two times a day.. hope to lose some weight before surgery.. now if i could just get it out of my head on the weekends to stop having these .. one last time to eat this splurges.. ugg!!

I don't have alot of time off from work.. i'm planning on going to have the surgery then coming back to work the next day.. is this unrealistic? I hope not... as i'm pushing my luck with time off for the surgery and my son's graduation in the same month.

May 3rd here with Dr. Ponce I just changed my time to 8:30 pm.. i get into san diego at 5:25 and can't beleive 3 hours later i will be laying on the surgery table..lol..I orginally was going to go the next day at 8 am.... but figure i might as well get it going first thing that way i will be in mexico longer for recovery.. i will have a million butterflies in my stomach that whole day.. i can't imagine...lol
