  1. Wow.. I haven't updated in a while.. Yesterday was my 9 month anniversary! I've lost 97 pounds!! We went to Maine last month so I could meet my future in laws.. I can't believe we are getting married in 6 months!!

  2. Been on the go, go, go today! So much to do and so little time to do it! LOL. I took the day off from work and ran a ton of errands! And since we had a beautiful 75 degree day today in Texas, I washed, vacuumed, and cleaned out 2 cars this morning! lol. Talk about a work out!

  3. I haven't updated in FOREVER!! Okay... Christmas was great.. My boyfriend proposed and we are getting married October 13 this year!! I'm down 90 pounds in 7 months. I've started a new job, bought a car, and am going to Maine in 3 weeks to meet my future in laws.. Life is realllllllly good!!!!

  4. Okay.. I've uploaded photos from today since I have to work all day tomorrow for my 4 month surgaversary and won't have time! LOL..

  5. Well, I put it on my facebook and forgot to post it here! This past Sunday I hit my first real goal. I had been waiting for about 7 days, and just couldn't get there. 76 pounds GONE!! Every diet I've ever been on the most I would loose would be about 60 pounds, never more. I wanted to lose 75 and I DID IT! I'm so excited. Especially since my 4 month surgaversary is coming up on Monday! :) Happy Happy girl!

  6. Well, yesterday was my 3 month surgeversary! I can't believe how awesome my sleeve has been, and how much I've changed. To celebrate yesterday, I went to Zumba class and had a beautiful healthy brunch with the love of my life. All of my friends, and family have been so supportive. My son even came to me this morning and asked if he could go work out with me. I'm so proud and so happy. I hope all the new sleevers have as much success and victory's as I have had. 70 pounds g...

  7. Well, I've caught a cold :(. I was wishing it was just allergies, and it very well may be, but it sure doesn't feel like it. No working out for me this weekend.. my sinus' are WAAAYY too stuffy!

  8. Saw my surgeon today for my 2 month post op... I am proud to say I'm officially 58.9 pounds down and gone forever!!!!!!! She was really impressed with me. I was brutally honest with her about the things that I have not been doing as correctly as I probably should, and got a slight scolding for them. Overall, she said I'm doing great! I LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!!!

  9. I still have a long way to go, but I'm hoping to hit my goal by spring! You're doing great! Keep up the awesome work!

  10. So at 7 weeks on last Thursday I was down 56 pounds! I think I've finally hit my stall, since I haven't dropped an ounce since then. Hopefully it won't last long, but I really didn't want to be loosing nearly 2 pounds a day anyway. I'll be happy if I can do 4-5 pounds a week once I break my stall. Since Texas is FINALLY looking at temperatures below 100 degrees, maybe I can get out and actually get some decent outside workouts in!

  11. I think my first full week back at work drained me. I preferred the part time summer school hours! This getting up at 5AM and in bed by 10PM is for the chickens! Just feeling a bit drained.. I have to keep telling myself that I'm not even 2 months post op! I know it will get better, so I think I will just go take a nap and not worry about it! :)

  12. I am missing our chats! Things have been so crazy around here. School started back, so of course, I'm back to work full time. I've visited a few gyms, trying to find one that is right for me. I have all these 7 day passes, LOL. Guess I'll get a few weeks of free gym time to make my choice!

  13. Thank you! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Kennedy. She is so ready to be supportive and there for her patients. Her staff is amazing, and I am soooo thankful I chose her as my surgeon. You will do GREAT! I was very leery about having this surgery. So much of me wanted it whole heartedly and then the little nagging voice chimed it. My heart won! I'm so happy with my results. Best of luck!!!

  14. Almost 6 weeks post op and 52 pounds gone forever!!!

  15. Just wondering if you ever got your surgery. I know it was on the fence for a bit there. Any news?

  16. Officially ONE month post op tomorrow and 48 pounds GONE!!! It is utterly amazing to me! Still having no problems with my sleeve and feel very fortunate that I'm one of the lucky ones! This has been the best thing I've EVER done for myself!!!!

  17. Our trip to Gruene and the Guadalupe was UTTERLY FANTASTIC!!! We stayed at a BEAUTIFUL bed and breakfast called the Keubler Waldrip house! We floated the river and just lazed around with our awesome group of friends! We had such a good time we didn't want to leave!!

  18. Had my 2 week visit with my surgeon today.. Everything is right on track! Going tubing down the Guadalupe this weekend, well, if there's any water left in it I am!

  19. Just popping in to see how you are feeling!

  20. I'm feeling utterly AWESOME today! Down 35 pounds since my last visit at my PCP, and down 15 since surgery! I'm so flipping excited! Everything is going great! Go for my 2 week checkup with the surgeon on Monday! I LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!

  21. Today is going to be a great day.... because I SAID SO! 2 more days and I go back to work. I'm glad, because, well, I just can't sit around this house ANYMORE! Feeling good. Still have a bit of pulling in the left side, but it is increasingly better than a few days ago. Ready to start going, going, going!

  22. Thank you! I'm trying.. just have to get past this side pain!

  23. I'm walking, I'm sipping, I'm eating! I'm 6 days out and STILL have this dang pain in my left side! My butt hurts from having to sleep only on my back...I wish it would ease up already!

  24. So glad you are out and doing well!! Keep us all posted when you start feeling better!!!

  25. Thinking about you today!!!!
