Made it thru the day on 5 sf jellos and a vitamin water and lots of regular water! Actually surprised I feel as good as I do.

My passport arrived and my surgery date got moved up a day to 7/12!

Okay.. day 3 at the same weight. I didn't think it was supposed to go this slow this early. One of my sleeve sisters is down almost 40lbs and I'm hanging out at 26. Trying to be grateful but so impatient!

Richard Simmons.. LOL! So how are you doing today? Are you having any food funerals? When my husband got his lap band we went around to his favorite restaurants and he had "last meals". I can't really think of anything I want to say good bye to except maybe chocolate covered almonds.

Simple is good! So excited to have someone going thru this at the same time to chat with! Do you just have 1 night in the hospital after surgery?

So.. I was trying to get in all my lunch dates with mom and friends before I can't eat again. Everyone is flaking on me this week. Of course they don't know... you asked me how long I'll be out of work and I just took a week vacation starting the day I leave for Mexico. I'll be back to work next week but I have mostly a desk job so I'm hoping I'll be ok.

Stall ...stall.. stall.. scale has been the same for 4 days. Yeah.. I know that is still a short one but I'm impatient. I started Jillian Michaels power yoga today so we'll see if I can break this sooner rather than later!

Stall broken! I am now at the lowest weight my scale (it's only a year old) has ever seen me. So... next lb I lose it will start telling me I'm losing weight. Yay! Now I'm going to start looking for a charity for these size 20pants..

Still stalled around the same weight since 7/17 keep bouncing around thru 2lbs up and down. My body was stuck at this weight for a long time and I'm really learning why I never could stick to a "diet" before. I could never outlast the stalls and my body must be super weight loss resistant!

Tell me about it! I told my husband he was coming with me but now that I realize I will be there for like 5 nights he may have to stay back and take care of our 5 year old. I'm bound and determined to do this whatever it takes because I feel like I've tried everything else and I'm so ready to lose the weight.

That is funny.. what a great way to explain your job! I'm still learning how to use this message board so apologize if this info is somewhere and I'm not seeing it but when did you get your sleeve? How is it going for you so far?

There really is NO place like HOME! So happy the surgery is behind me and I am on the road to RECOVERY!

Time to get serious... want to be in 1derland in 6 weeks and have 15lbs to go.

Today I travel to Mexico, surgery tomorrow! My 5 yr old told me last night that I had bad breath.. I think the ketosis has kicked in and I'm going to make it to surgery! Am a little concerned that I am low on protein. Could not get those clear protein shots from costco down. Ugh!

Today's the day! I'm doing a happy dance for you! Enjoy those meds..soon you won't be hungry anymore!

Waiting .. waiting.. surgery was pushed to this afternoon around 2 or 3pm. Doc had a middle of the night call for another patient and now he is resting up for my procedure.

Water.. Water.. Water... I can't get enough Water. 1 week out and I live in the desert people.. small sips are not doing it for me! Otherwise life is great.. down 24lbs

Well best of luck! I just moved my date up 1 day so now I'm o the 12th. So looking forward to the other side of the actual procedure. Do you have a pre-op diet? How long do you stay in the hospital after? I have 7 day liquids and a 2 night hospital stay and then 1-2 nights in the recovery hotel. I'm self pay so I have to go to Mexico and it's different there!

Well.. it's official, I'll be going to Mexico alone. Not crazy about it but am committed to doing whatever it takes. Now crossing fingers the passport gets here in time!
