I'm not going to lie, I have cheated, and after doing so I feel miserable and depressed. So I have learned to keep a daily food and calorie count, and if there's a little wiggle room at the end of the day then, Well you know the rest....... -

Sorry not there yet. But 2/3 lbs a week sounds GREAT! I'd be real happy if I could lose that kinda weight. Ive been a real SLOW loser. -

Don't you worry. The same thing happened to me and it really had me going CrAzY. Do yourself a favor and get a tape measure. The scales will pay CrAzY mInD tRIcKs oN YoU. Make it a point to STAY ON TRACK, but stop the weighing game. Once every 10 days is a good rule of thumb. You are GOING TO LOSE THE WEIGHT. -
WOW! NEVER-MIND Just yesterday I was almost in tears thinking that I'm a failure. I was almost thinking about missing another doctors appointment because I didn't want to hear him say "your not on track" Today is my two month surger-versary. I Jumped on the scale this am, and WOW, down 50lb. !!! (since preop diet) That means SOMEHOW I've lost 3lbs in 3 days (?) , the only thing different I've done is added 15 almonds ( no salt) in my diet daily for the past 3 days, upped my Water and had a slim fast for the past 3 days. Never-mind, I'm not a failure and I'm not letting that scale get me down again. It plays tricks on you mind. CrAzY TrIcKs!

JG407-this might be TMI (to much info) but do yourself a favor and start taking something now for constipation. That was absolutely the worst part of my surgery. One week later and, well........ -

Well..... I'd reccomend staying out of the restaurants and drive throughs. And your husband needs to support your decision to have this surgery to begin with. Ask him to PLEASE help you make healthy meals at home. You both will feel so much better and you will lose so much weight. STAY STRONG -
We are all so proud of you. Your doing all the right things! CONGRATULATIONS

Hi Everyone New at this, but feel like I need to communicate with others that share similar lifestyles. As of tomorrow it will be 2 months since my sleeve. My start weight was 278lbs I was miserable! I lost around 15lbs preop and stopped smoking as well. I'm not sure if my weight lose is on track or not, because I have not seen my doctor since 4 weeks postoperative. I'm now at 232 and feel GREAT! However I find that I can eat more than I should be able to. It's scares me cause I get hungry alot and stoped drinking the protain shakes I'm going to See my doctor this week and I'm afraid to because I think I'm failing.
