Hi everyone I have just returned from a weekend away on an island, walking along the beach, wine glasses of water and candlelit dinners consisting of 1/2 cups of food..lol romance post lap band lives on... How ever I must provide my first confession...I ate a cherry ripe today...but I ate it slowly if that means anything..lol. Oh well i have been at the gym every day so lets hope it will not do permamnent damage. It is so hard waiting for your first fill and not having any restriction. I also flattened my diet coke so I could drink something other then water, that was successful. Hope everyone has a great week cheers Lisa (alias Lucylee QLD)

Hi Rava are you also having trouble getting your water intake in? What are you currently eating on a normal day? If you would like ongoing contact since we are only 1 week apart with our lap banding experiencing, feel free to pm regards lisa (alias Lucylee)

Hi Dionne Dr De lacey did my procedure, only problem I am having is 13 days post op, swelling has gone down and I feel like i can eat anything. Got approval to go to vitamised early, but tried some soft casserole tonight and it went down no problems. I am being careful measuring out only half a cup at each meal . Did you have a similar problem, when did you get your band done? cheers Lisa (alias lucylee) QLD

Can I get some advice I am day 12 post banding, and all my swelling has gone down, I am on vitamised but am not feeling any restriction, to remain safe I am measuring all my food into half a cup. Do you think it would be safe for me to try some soft real food, since the vitamised is going down so easy? Thanks Lisa

Hi well I am new to this website, and I am personally glad you started the new thread, because as a queenslander I did not think I was allowed to join in on the melbourne thread. Fee I hope you feel better after your outburst, although I can't agree with your claims. Any questions I have asked have been rapidly replied, and I have not given any personal details of myself as yet, for people to judge as to what click of people i belong to!! We are all online for the same purpose; I feel if you have a personal problem with someone online you should pm them rather then bring the whole thread into an unnecessary argument. Respect everyone's feelings the way you would like to be respected. Anyway enough of my rambling Cheers lisa (QLD alias Lucylee)
