Can Someone Tell Me When?
Heatherr replied to Futureskinnyperson's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Mine stopped falling out about 9 months post op. It is starting to look better now as the regrowth is about 4-5 inches long, still, I have long hair and the ends are thin. -
I finally did it. Booya! I don't know if I'll ever see a 6, but that's fine by me.

Any Long Time Sleevers Out There?
Heatherr replied to p77tmey's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm 1.3 years out, so not new but not worthy of long term status. I am 4lbs from goal and still losing albeit one pound at a time. -
Post-Op Ladies.. Did You Lose Your Shape? And What Did You Do To Help Tighten Your Skin?
Heatherr replied to beba238's topic in The Gals' Room
I have always had a proportional hourglass figure. That didn't change as I gained or lost. My butt is a little saggier, but that is likely natural aging as well. I look good in jeans. Nakid? Not so much. -
How long does weight loss continue?
Heatherr replied to Newgirl's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm 15 months post, a few pounds from goal and still losing, although it's very slowly. The slow weight loss has been for months. -
I've had the same thing for months. It got worse and I can no longer run. My husband gave me a deep tissue massage int the area and hit something (I assume nerve) that had me scream, gasping and crying in an instant. It took me three days to recover from that. I hope yours is temporary.

My Favorite Thing About Wls...and My Least Favorite Thing. Join In!
Heatherr replied to 7carol3's topic in Rants & Raves
My favorite thing is how close my hubby and I are when we have sex. Every inch touches and we can kiss without padding in the way. I love that he can pick up all caveman, toss me around and throw me on the bed. My least favorite is needing to buy a new wardrobe so often. I'm in the public eye, so I can't hide in yoga pants and tees and need to have multiple outfits that are suitable for public. -
We women are so hard on ourselves. As others have said, as you get into smaller sizes, they'll go by faster. And I sooo get teh psychology of it all. I typically wear a medium in tops, but I have 36DD breasts, so if I shop in juniors or a teen store like Hollister or Abercrombie, I may need an XL. It used to play a game with my head, but i got over it a few weeks ago because I just like those clothes sometimes. It's not the size but how sexy I look in it. <----- own that statement.

I'm different than most. I don't consider bad foods as cheats as long as they fit into my daily diet. If I have a small slice of pizza, it's not cheating if breakfast was 2 egg whites and lunch was a salad with grilled chicken. It still allows me to be well under calories for the day and didn't make the carbs out of control. To me that's not cheating. It's only cheating if I overendulge. A piece of pie would be cheating because it's way over my carb limit for the day. Fried chicken is cheating because its way over my fat allowance for the day, but I wouldn't consider a bite cheating because I can fit that into my diet plan.

In the beginning, you just do what you have to do. Most of us can't get it all in at first. Just keep that goal in mind and try to get to that point. Starving doesn't help the process. GL

Yes, definitely threaten reporting insurance fraud. You may not have to wait too long. But, seriously, what a flipping nightmare. I am so sorry you have had to go through this, and quite frankly, it's utterly ridiculous.

I Cant Find Info On This; 2Nd Vsg Anyone?
Heatherr replied to HondaCivicDude's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm still losing after a year. It doesn't suddenly stop working at 12 months post op. I don"t get it. Anyhoo, I imagine he did mean teh second part of the DS, but if the sleeve is still working for you, why fix what isn't broke? Good luck. -
OMG! I could have written this post last week only I gained 9lbs (yes I said 9) the week I was on vacation. I also got my TOM the day I got home, so it was a double whammy, but you know what? I lost it all the very next week, so obviously it was just Water retention. I think the pp are right. I know I tried to stay on plan, but I did eat differently than normal. I was also outside in the heat a lot and did a lot of long hours of driving, and I went 6 days without pooing. The number on the scale was a little disheartening, but it came off very quickly without effort. GL

I had Blue Moon draught at a tiki hut while on vacation and it was most delicious. Generally the bubbles make it uncomfortable and no way could I do beer straight from the bottle or can.

http://www.mybodygallery.com/ Have a look. Unless you are really short, 150lbs looks good. I wore a bikini at 150....just saying.

Smile. It makes you look approachable. Make eye contact, smile and say hello. The rest usually works itself out, but initiate conversation with something simple like "Hello." It is THAT easy. If you're out with friends and you see someone worth approaching, a good way to get his attention is to say loudly "Oh, that looks good," while you smile at him, "I'll have what he's having." These simple things make you look approachable and open up the beginning dialogue. ^^^^just for ideas. HTH and have fun!

Huh? The uterus is what makes orgasms so great? I'm not sure this information is correct. Many women have amazing orgasms sans a uterus.

After You Have Been Sleeved For A While, What Does Retriction Feel Like?
Heatherr replied to PJ_Sleeve's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It's the same for me. I have the same full feeling, but I know not to eat anymore. It comes on sudden and then I must stop becuase one more bite may lead to the ridiculous salivation. And it is a ridiculous amount, as in I have to spit constantly for about 10 minutes. -
Marriage counseling. He needs an outside party to back you up, and you both need help communicating with eachother. What you're both saying and hearing from eachother is clearly not getting through clearly. This is where the counseling will help. If you are both hearing and choosing to just ignore, then you have larger issues that won't be helped and you have to decide if you can live with it or not. Your husband is a douchebag. I'm not a counselor, so I don't have to be nice about it.

I was enjoying food again at about 2 months post op, but I was on whatever I could tollerate by 2 weeks post. Yesterday I had bbq shrimp for Breakfast, a king crab leg for lunch and prime rib with mushrooms for dinner. For a snack I had 1/2 cup of cream of asparagus Soup. It was all delicious and most enjoyable. I don't typically eat that grand, but I'm trying to get rid of leftovers from vacation. After a year, I still have days where something that I eat often will suddenly sit like a lead weight in my belly, but mostly I can eat anything, enjoy eating it, but am happy to be done when it's gone.
