Its really wierd one day I will feel extremely hungry and can eat a lot and the next day it seems that I have just had surgery and cant eat hardly anything. I didn't have a weight loss goal in mind ever. But when I reached 145 pounds I stopped loosing. It is harder for me to stay at 145 pounds but I exersize 4-5 days a week and keep a log of what I eat everyday so I know how many protein grams and calories I am consuming.

Hi, I was banded in September 2005 in mexico. I have never had a fill and I am at my goal weight and have kept it off for over a year. so it does happen. Let me know if you have amy questions. Bobbie

Yes I have had pain in my port sight from the beginning. My surgury was September 05,and I have been at my goal weight for a year. My port sticks out of stomach you can definately see it. It does not bother my husband or any one else that has seen me in a bikini. If my port starts to hurt it is an indication that I am thirsty. After a few big glasses of water it subsides. Hope this helps.

I was able to find a fill doctor through fill centers usa. They have a growing network of doctors. -
I had mine done by Dr. De La Garza in Monterrey Mexico. It was the best experience I have ever had with any hospital or doctor.

All I know is that with me, my doctor told me if I was loosing two to three pounds per week not to have a fill. I was banded in September 2005 and have not had to have a fill. I have lost 85 pounds and have maintained my gosl weight for over a year. Just listen to your body.

Hi everyone, This is my first time to join any type of chat. I am really excited. Just a little about me I am 36, I have a three year old little girl. I had surgury in Montterrey Mexico by Dr. De La Garza in September 2005. My bmi was 35. As of today I have lost 85 pounds maintained my goal weight for a year and I feel Great. Congratulations on your decision. I can tell you it has been the best decision I have ever made. I am also new to Lap Band Chat. I had surgury in September 2005 as of today I have maintained my goal weight for one year. Good Luck and I jlook forwarsd to talking to you again.

I had surgury on the 25th day of September 2005. I have lost a total of 85 pounds, reached my goal weight and I have never had to have a fill. I am going to be getting my first fill in a couple of weeks, just so I can maintain.
