Does any else notice that since the hot/humid weather has started that you feel more restriction?? I've noticed a huge difference in the past week, which I guess is good and maybe will jump start my weight loss again!!

Well my dad had a few issues with surgery, his blood pressure and heart rate went crazy from the 4 different anesthesias and he ended up being in ICU the first night, but he is on a regular floor now and doing good as far as the surgery is concerned, but they have decided not to release him today as planned because his surgeon ( who was also my surgeon and an amazing surgeon) is concerned with his irregular heart rate, so they are sending in the cardiologist again today, please pray that he gets better real quick!! Thanks!!!

Today my dad will FINALLY become a SLEEVER!!! Im so proud of him for sticking to it through all the hoops he had to get through to be here today!! Please pray everything goes well with his surgery today!!! Love u daddy and WELCOME TO THE LOSING BENCH!!!!!! Your proud sleeved daughter!!!!

You look awesome and I think we had our surgeries around the same time if I remember correctly! So happy to see your doing well!! I agree with the slowing down I had lost 80 pounds in 6 months and then for the last 6 months have lost only 22 pounds, but I could have never lost 102 pounds without my sleeve! Keep rocking it girl!!!!

Gosh can I so relate to this!! I lost 80 pounds in my first 6 months and 22 in the last 6 months. I hit my one year on May 3 and feel like these last 15-25 pounds are NEVER Going to come off!!!!! I have been playing with 2 pounds for at least a month or two! I am on program most days, but I do snack on sweets every now and then, good luck to you but also know u are not alone!! I just keep telling myself they will come off!!

I'm a year post op and still get the giggling and rumbling sounds, it's all normal. Each day it gets better!!

I've been at 75% since around 10 months and I'm 15 pounds from goal and my surgeon told me that my sleeve did its job now it's gonna take hard work and determination to get the rest off. Boy is he right!!! But I can't complain my sleeve took off 102 pounds that I would have never been able to get off otherwise!!!

So yesterday was my 1 year surgiversary!!!! I've lost a total of 102 pounds, went from a size 24 to a size 12!! I still have around 15-20 more pounds to get to goal!! I can't believe how my sleeve has changed my life!!!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and NEW YEAR'S!!! Yesterday was my 8 month surgiversary and I got on the scale this morning and have lost 3 pounds since the new year and I'm down a Total of 90 pounds!!! WOOHOO!!! The picture below is Tom and I at New Year's in 2009 and then this past one!! Everyone jokes that I lost alot of weight and he lost alot of HAIR!! LOL I wish he would have fixed the hat for this picture..LOL Love him to pieces!!! Kristy

It sure sounds like the stabbing pain I felt on the right side when I had my gallbladder removed...They didn't find it through the ct scan or blood work but after going back two days in a row to the ER they finally did what is called a NUK scan..and they found that the gallbladder wasnt releasing the Bial (not sure I spelt that right), but I didn't have stones, it was not functioning properly...and was backing up and giving me the severe pain....So glad I had it removed... Best of luck!!

Hi Everyone!! Just a comparison picture I though I'd share!! I'm loving my sleeve!!!

I just found out that what I thought had turned in to a belly button outtie was a hernia...I thought seeing my surgery was done through my belly button that my tight deep belly button had turned to an outtie, but my surgeon told me on Wednesday that it was in fact a hernia..but not to worry that when I get to goal they will fix it and give me a free tummy tuck to while they are doing the repair...because my insurance will pay for the hernia surgery..WOOHOO!!!!

Hello Everyone!!! I am so excited to report that this morning I HIT ONEDERLAND!!! Finally!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh what a great feeling..I could have never done this without the help of my sleeve!!! I am so blessed to have my sleeve!!! LOVING MY NEW LIFE!!!!!For me this has been my biggest goal, thus far...now to get to 150........

Surgery on May 3, 2011 and lost a total of 81 pounds!!

HI everyone, I just wanted to share these few pictures..they made me realize what a difference!! from size 24 to 16!!!

Thankfully I started with a very thick head of hair..But I too have lost alot...my hair is thin now..I also took Biotin and I'm starting to see where the hair is starting to grow back..thank goodness..I'm about 6 months postop and I've noticed that I'm back to the normal amount of hair I would loose when I wash it...
