Hello to all! I am new to this forum. I have my sleeve scheduled for this Monday 4/25/11. I have been doing the pre-op liquid diet for the last 6 days and like everyone else am hungry! I just keep focused on the success I can have by doing this. I have been thinking and researching about WLS for about 3 years now. I have chosen Dr. Daniel Cottam in Salt Lake City, UT to do the procedure for me. I am very pleased with his knowledge and experience. I would recommend him to all and I haven't even had the surgery yet! I will post more after I have surgery on Monday and hope that I can make a few friends here on the forum. Thanks Lilyv

One of the reasons I chose my doctor is because they offer insurance for self pay patience. It is included in the price for surgery. I am covered for 6 months post surgery. Dr. Cottam in SLC, UT.

I am also nervous, but it is a natural reaction. I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago and remember feeling the same way. I wonder if because this is a selective surgery our freak outs are a little more enhanced? Doesn't matter.... we're human. I am having surgery on Monday 4/25.
