Well, i'm glad this was brought up too. I could burp before banding, as a matter of fact I burped like a man all the time! (my two brothers are responsible for teaching me to burp in neighborhood burping contests) all that to say this. Now that i'm banded I burp even louder and longer! If we had a contest I bet I would win and I don't bet as a rule! Thats how much faith I have in my ability to burp the best. So, any takers?

Estella, It's a common thing what your experiencing. The burping (gas from surgery) the foam (seems to be a band thing). I'm sorry about your hubby not supporting you. Thats unfortunate to say the least. You'll find lots of support here. There are lots of nice people here and they have lots of experience to share. I would suggest for you to put a search on burping and gas and see what comes up. The search link is at the top of page on the bar with all the other links. Good luck and best wishes to you.

I heard it thru the grape vines that your hair does grow back, Thank God cause I've lost quite a bit of mine. It has stopped falling out by now (I think it's done shedding) and no one notices but me. Why, have you started to shed?

Well for this being your first quilt you did an excellent job! I too love quilts just don't sew them. Wish I did sometimes it would be a lot cheaper than buying them! My outlet is painting and scrapbooking. But they don't keep my hands out of the cookie jar. Boo Hoo, maybe I should take up quilting...

Does giving away your first batch of clothe count as a NSV? It feels so good to look at this TALL stack of cloths and know that they are ALL too big for me! I've gone from a 30/32 to a 26/28 in 3 1/2 months! I'm luvin my band right now. If y'all know anyone who can where a size 30/32 (lives in Tx preferably because of S&H) I've got some cloths for them! I bought most of these clothes from Catherines a specialty store here in Texas for large women. Thier nice cloths and would like to find a good home for them. I've thought about consigning them since I paid a lot of money for them but would like it better if I knew a woman that could use them for herself.

Hey guess what? I'm starting on a new room now! I'm preparing our back room for our German foriegn exchange student, Florian, this room is a disaster! We hav'nt painted it since we moved in this house 3 years ago and the people before us allowed thier kids to do anything they wanted to in it. It was the kids play room. You know what that means for older boys...spit wads covering the ceiling! And they're still there! Anyway, we use it as our storage/junk room right now. This is what it looks like now (I had a yard sale and got rid of some of this stuff) I I'm inspired and excited to do this room for Florian, both of Florians parents are Dentist and have thier own practice AND Florian is the baby at 16 yrs. old he has 2 older brothers. I hope he is'nt thrown into culture shock when he gets here and lives with my 3 little ones. I almost feel sorry for him already and he's not even here yet.

My hives are gone! Well mostly, they ony itch the tiniest bit every now and then through out the day. People don't even see them anymore only me when I take my make-up off. The thing that gave me the most relief was the cold compresses and the anti-itch creme combined. Also started taking my claritin again, maybe thats helping too.

If your in a wheel chair then all those posts about "walking" to the hospital to see QMicheele was a lie right? So, tell the truth Greg...you were a police officer for almost as long as I've been on this earth. That means your probly faster than me since I exercise on a as needed basis. I'm sooo looking forward to this now that I know theres a jacuzzi tub. I used to have one no two of those nice things then we flooded moved to Cleveland and bought this house that has little to none bells and whistles. Oh well, I call it home. HEY, I just thunk a thought...maybe I'll ask for a jaccuzi tub for christmas!!! I went and test drove a mustang today for the first time in my life. So, if you ladies see me drive up in a red sports car don't think anything of it!! Leatha, yes Marie and I spent one day togather, she helped me get ready for a yard sale the other week.
