Leatha! My feelings are hurt! Your partial? I knew it...i'm pretty to look at but i'm not the kind you take home to mama? This sucks! I'm gonna be a brat on this one and say so. Partiality sucks! Big time! boo hoo Boo Hoo BOO HOO HOO.... -
Did'nt Marie bring those thongs? I thought it was her.
-
Leatha, do you really want me to fess up? You fess up, you know too!
-
I was and am a patient of Dr.S and know that he did not require a diet prior to the surgery. No foods after midnight the night before surgery. Thats all! Did you say if you went to the infomational Seminar he requires before surgery or not? These are all things he covers in that couple of hours. I got all of my info from there, you might try going to that if your serious about getting banded.
-
This is cool. Whipple Daddy officially becomes one of us! It'll be good to call you a fellow bandster Ryan! I'm happy for you and bid you a speedy recovery. See you in Bandland!
-
Wow thats a cool thing to haopen to you! So, dod they tip you like Marie asked?
-
We had fun trying on all the cloths right there in my living room. It was like christmas in November! I'll call my Grandme tomorrow and see if she want some of these Blouses you gave Betty.
-
Betty I promised you these pics and here they are. Kathy LOVED the cloths I brought back to her. That was very generous of you to give all those NEW clothes away to people you don't know. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
-
this is my friend Kathy that could'nt come with me this weekend. She has talked about the band and of course I think it would be a good thing if she got it done. Hopefully I can show her that this band is'nt such a bad thing after all.
-
what a beautiful lady you are Paula. Inside and out! So glad you were able to come and join in on the fun after all. I'm looking forward to getting to know each of you even more!
-
These ladies had great stories of triumph to tell. The will to survive and overcome is a powerful thing. One thing we all had in common was the will to survive and triumph over tragedy.
-
We have to give credit where credit is due. Ginny was responsible for the karyoke and story time. It was all her idea! I don't know what we had done if she had'nt come with all her neat ideas.
-
I really enjoyed listening to all y'all had to share about yourselves. I loved how we opened up and told our "story" sitting around the dining table Sat. night after Karyoke.

Leatha, I can't fess up to taking those thongs when I did'nt take them. Remember what I was saying to cause those ladies to be smiling like they are in that picture? Something about what my husband would do with those thongs if I wore them! I'de hate to ruin a perfect thong ya know....I just hope that the woman who took them home makes them last longer than they would have with me.lol Where do I start with these pics? I'll start with Betty...this is a good pic of you girl. Don't let this innocent looking face fool you, remember this is a Harley Motor Cycle riding Mama!

DARCY!! You are cute! And that hat, WOW! Ok You need that pic as your avatar!

I'm not telling, she has to speak up herself!
-

I hope all of the others made it home safely, as for me I'm home safe and sound fond memories rolling over in my head but in shell shock. My house and family somehow survived with the central nerve system gone for one night. Thank God it was only one night cause my house sustained a considerable amout of damage! No the dishes were not washed, no the trash was not taken out, no the three little piggies were not picked up after BUT the kids were fed (Cereal and milk), 2 of them got a bath, and all in one piece. So, what can I say, the fort was held down! On the ride home I was'nt thinking of the condition of things at the home front as I was still rehashing all the fun and love I experienced with a bunch of great women I just spent the night with that I can call friends now. TY all for the wonderful time we had togather. High quality time getting to know each other on a personnal level and being able to express yourself W/O worry. It's hard to pull the right words out right now, maybe I'll have more to say when I post pics tomorrow.

I'm really enjoying this extra energy, so much that I started painting on my house. This is something I've wanted to do for 3 years now and never had the energy. Thought I'de share it with you people. These first pics are of Eves' room I just finished! I ended up using lots of pinks and pastels(very girly) Whimsical butterflies, dragonflies, bumblebees, and puffy clouds. Eve is 7 years old so she can still appreciate "little girl" stuff. That rainbow took an entire day all by itself! Mind you I was juggling my family, household, cooking, and cleaning on top of this project. I felt empowered! I have to admit when this room was done I was ready for it to be done! I'm still working on Davids room. I'll post more when I have more done.

Thanks for the support Pam, it's nice to have people understand me, I've had to quit being around that particulaf "friend". O well, I'll make new friends, life goes on. I would have never had the guts befire surgery to go ahead and sever a relationship. I'm changing slowly and it's difficult to adjust to the "new me". If I find it difficult I can't imagine what my hubby and friends are thinking!

Wow Babs! I'de be doing the same thing you did! I'm sooo happy for you girl! This is great! It gives me the hope that I'll get there one day soon! I went shopping at Cathrines yesterday because they're having a sale (as always) and bought smaller cloths than the last time I shopped there! Sur it was a 26 but HEY, I'm luvin it! The sales ladt told me that I would'nt be shopping there any more real soon and I told her no, the WLS I had done causes you to lose weight slowly, she just kinda looked at me like I did'nt know what I was talking about. I still have about 4-6 more inches to lose off my hips before I drop Cathrines (I think they thier sizes start at 1x) Anyway, I'll be sad to have to find new sales women to help me pick out the perfect outfit but I'll love it! Finding the perfect outfit won't be that hard after I lose some weight.
