I hiccup alot of times when I've had enough.

I was addicted to diet coke also! Actually it did'nt matter if it was D.Coke or D.Dr.Pepper as long as it had caffine in it! Since the band I've given them up. I did'nt realize how they were a trap. I'de peak and then crash so I'de drink another one to peak again. Looking back, It was a bad cycle. I still consume caffine but on a much smaller scale. 1-2 servings a day whereas before surgery it was almost a 12 pack a day. I feel much better now.

Denise, Sorry to hear of all of the bumps in the road. Hang in there and don't give up. This too shall pass. Just keep your eyes on the goal and remember you have alot of people here you can come and share your journey with.

Yes, Galveston sounds good to me...beach house, margarita, sunsets, sunrises, long walks on the beach as the tide rolls in, collecting sea shells, sitting around a camp fire roasting marshmellows, long talks and lots of girl friend time, it all sounds good to me.

That makes since ya know. If a drink or food causes your body to release insulin you won't lose or you won't lose as fast according to the late Dr.Atkins. I drank 2-3 cups of coffee each morning religously until I was banded. I gave it up my first month then gradually have workred my way back up to a cup most mornings. If I don't drink my one cup of coffee I'll drink one glass of Iced Java Drink mixed with protien powder in it and call it Breakfast.
