@Cervidae: Recovery? I have discovered a personality flaw ----I don't have the patience for skin surgery. I can't do anything "proactive" to recover. I just have to "heal/rest. That is tough for me. I'm sure that once these drain and the "miles" of tubing come out I will feel better. Thank you, friend for asking.

@Dub: I've been overly emotionally consumed about ARod's "retirement" .

I find it too stressful to watch physically fit youngsters fulfilling their life challenges while I'm tethered to chair able to do little besides practicing my knots--alone . I've made many wrong decisions in my past . Is this surgery just another? Thank you, Dub.

No buyer's remorse allowed! If I have to I'll go dig up one of your old posts where you've told a WLS patient what to do when they felt like their surgery was a mistake......You knew from the beginning that this recovery was going to be long and hard....so just settle in for the ride. We're all here for you to bitch to when you need to.......take up knitting or something.... and know there are lots and lots of folks here that care about you.

I know this is a hard time - I doubt I would handle it with much grace myself, but I do believe it will be worth it once you get the drains out and get more mobile. afterall, you really did need this, it was not done for cosmetic reasons. :-)
