I am a 25 year old undergraduate student at Molloy College, studying Music Therapy. I have been overweight since I was in second grade, and began considering surgery when I was 18. Shortly after the death of one of my brothers, my doctor told me that I was seriously shortening my life due to my obesity. In September of 2010, at the age of 24, I began my journey. My surgery is scheduled for May 24th. I am ready to change my life!
