Sorry to check in so late. I went to my 1 month check up on Monday and I lost a total of 40lbs. I lost about 15 of that during my pre-op. My weight as of Monday was 275. -
Had surgery yesterday around 12. Today I'm feeling ok walking, sipping, and resting. My leak test came back negative so hopefully I will be discharged thus evening.

I have BCBS Federal and was approved in less than a week on the first try. -
I am going through Dominion Surgical Associates with Dr. Brengman in Richmond. I actually am having my last consultation tomorrow. So hopefully all of my paperwork will be submitted Monday or Tuesday.

Hi!!! I'm new to this site and was wondering if anyone has gone through the approval process with fed bcbs of Va? If so, how long was the wait after submission for approval? Also what information did you include in the packet?
