My nutritionist recommended Atkins shakes for preop because they are convenient and have a little more fat than some of the other ones so they help you feel full. They taste really good too.

I started my liquid diet 2 days early so I could avoid it. I kept thinking "what else do I need to eat before I can't anymore" so I figured it would be better to just go ahead and start. Good luck with your surgery.
