  1. So, I was sleeved on 3/25. I have no problems eating what I should be eating or getting the amount of protein I should be getting, but this past 4-5 days the scale has not moved. I was wondering if that was normal or if anyone else has experienced this. I am starting to wonder if this surgery was the right decision for me or if my body is just saying what the heck did you do to me? I have lost 15 lbs since surgery, but nothing in the past 4-5 days. Just curious. Thanks!

    3 week stall

I am allowed to eat mushies currently, but just can't seem to want to put my food in a blender and then eat it. Something about that reminds me of my daughter's baby food so that is definitely not happening. I can't wait for another two weeks so I can have mushies...YAY!!
  3. I found it at Meijer, but it is called Super Advanced. I like drinking this versus others because then I can have other foods with protein and don't feel like I am doing the same dang thing all the time. Mine is chocolate flavored.
  4. I am so excited. I am only one week and two days post-op, but I am feeling great. I lost 10 lbs pre-op and have lost another 12 lb since surgery. I took my one years old to the park twice today...Man, was she worn out and me too. It was so nice to be able to climb on the toddler playground after her. I am not in a lot of pain except for when I sleep. My doctor recommended that I keep my binder on for two weeks post-op, but I feel like I really don't need it except when I sleep. I am so happy I had this surgery and look forward to further positive weight losses. My goal is to be able to do things I never thought possible at my weight previously. I found this awesome protein that has 26 grams of protein in it for one serving. Almost a half a full day serving of protein alone, but with the skim milk makes a half serving!! I am so excited!! YAY to my new life! : )
  5. My surgery is Friday too! I am totally excited about it, but geesh I can't believe how much the injection to prevent blood clots costs. I guess it is all worth it
  6. Hey all, I just joined this forum because it looks like a fun way to communicate with fellow sleevers. I have my surgery my next week. I am so excited, nervous, anxious, and just well confused. I have read up from many different members about their success stories, but I keep thinking to myself oh wow that person lost 50 lbs in 3 months or 100 lbs in 4 months, but I keep thinking there is no way that will happen for me. I have had a lifetime of failure with dieting and just am amazed that this could really happen. My doctor said that I should lose at least 160 lbs to be at normal weight. What is "normal" anyway?? I am so excited, but I feel like my pre-op diet isn't going so well. I keep trying to make it go better and doing better, but I just keep thinking that I can still eat right now. I am going on a cruise in September and have set my goal to lose 100 lbs in six months. Do you guys think that I really lose the weight in the period of time or not??
