My start out weight at surgery was 410 - I am 3 weeks Post op and am down to 380 - I have lost 30 pounds.

Just wanted to share a before and after photo - I am about 10 weeks post op.

Yes - it is because I have alot of weight to loose that I am loosing at a faster rate - but just know that if you use this sleeve as the tool it is intended for, it will work for you! I am hoping to feel better soon - I will keep you all updated. Michelle

First off, I want to say thank you for all of your kind posts, I really do appreciate them So - I just got back from the Dr and here is the diagnosis - Vertigo Dehydrated Severely Bit B12 Deprived and....... Severe Depression Nothing major, right? lol yeah So in 2002 I was in a major car accident and suffered from really bad vertigo. I was told that any kind of trauma can bring it back, well I have it now and Dr is thinking that it was brought on by my Gastric surgery - So I had to get my ears irrigated out (Not pleasant) and was give exercises that I Need to do at least twice a day Before my surgery I was put on a Water pill because my legs an feet were so swollen, Dr stated that between that and my blood pressure pills I was dehydrated and had to drink my G2 Gatorade Even though I am taking the sub-lingual Vit B12 it looks like I am not absorbing it well, so I have to have the shots, I Have to give myself 1 every day for the next week then 1 a week for the next month, then 1 a month after that... UGHHHH Now for the fun part, Depression - I have to be a Wellbutrin for awhile - Dr did state that if I had any wierd side effects with it to just let her know and we can do something different - at this point I am willing to try anything Heres hoping this all works Thanks

Thanks all, My hubby called Dr Nick this afternoon and he said, that this happens, when your having a stressful time in your life, in the past we would go to food for a stress reliever, and since having the surgery, he has taken that coping mechanism away, so we don't have a way to deal with stress, so it tends to make us really angry and depressed - he also stated that I really needed some help with it as it is really extreme for me, so I am going into my family DR in the AM and he stated that I needed to get on a quick release anti depressant for about a week or two and I should be ok... I will keep you all posted Thanks

I just dont get it really - I am doing really well as far as weightloss is concerned, I am off of my blood pressure medicine as of Friday, I feel better then what I did before surgery, but emotionally - I am a wreck, I cry at the drop of a hat, I am never what you would call happy these days, I am always bored, and I get angry easily - I dont know what it is.. and its really not fun anymore.... Why cant I just be happy???

Never thought about carb withdrawl - hmmm I did mention it to my family DR on Friday, but they kinda ignored it like it was nothing - so if it doesnt get better, I will let them know that this definatly is an issue.

Ok, so i am 10 weeks post op and I find that I am easily set off and get angry, I mean really really angry - Is this normal? is this because all of the hormones being released into the body, or could there be something more to it?? Getting rather old actually, and it seems to happen at work and at home.... Thanks in advance for all of your responses.

Just wanted to say - I weighed myself today and I have lost a total of 86 pouds and I am 9 weeks post op - Since last sat, I have lost 11 pounds... YAY, I SO love my sleeve.

Just thought I would say that I have lost 75 pounds so far and Monday I will be 2 months Post op! YAY!!! Michelle PS Happy 4th of July!!!

Hey, I am here, sorry I havent been on in awhile, life just got busy - I am doing well, I went to my 2 post op Dr visit today and they were ecstatic on how well I am doing - I have lost a total of 70 pounds and quite a few inches and have gone down 4 sizes. I have also started my own weightloss blog if you would like to come over and check it out! I have a before and after picture on there! Miss you all HUGS
