Is there a way a pay it forward clothing thread could be set up? I have some things to get rid of, but I think I am the biggest person on this thread.

I had my third fill almost three weeks ago and over the weekend every meal I ate I was pb'ing. I am in a funk also. Lets all post before and after pics so we can celebrate together. I'll bet as a group we have lost over 1000 lbs. and that is awesome. As soon as I shower and get make up on, I will get hubby to take a picture. Mel O- I couldn't do a cinnabon, but I did have chocolate ice cream and four cho chip cookies last night. SO BAD, I know!

Okay I got my last fill on the 30th. A little tight at first, then fine. Now the last three things(meals) I have eaten, I pb'd. Not understanding.............. Melissa- if no one else on here is as large as I, I will take the pants. If someone else wants them, take them. Please tell me I am not the largest one on the sight. That should be enough to make me go to the gym.........................

It's been a while since I have been on............... First of all-Love the dress! You look great! Second- All my weightloss seems to have come to a halt this month. I am having a hard time staying motivated to eat right. All the healthy foods hurt. The bad ones go down fine. I am not gaining yet, but staying the same. I don't know why I can't get back on the wagon. We are going out of town on a weekend away with my husbands company. I always felt like a cow before. Now I will be 50 lbs. smaller than last year, but not where I wanted to be. YUCK! I don't know what is the matter with me.

MelissaO- It will be okay, maybe its water weight. I went through that for a few weeks. It drove me crazy. Then when I went to the doctor, and I had still lost 8 pounds. She told me to stay away from the scale. It's hard!

Here is some of what I found on it: Biotin is used in cell growth, the production of fatty acids, metabolism of fats, and amino acids. It plays a role in the Citric acid cycle, which is the process in which biochemical energy is generated during aerobic respiration. Biotin not only assists in various metabolic chemical conversions, but also helps to transfer carbon dioxide. Biotin is also helpful in maintaining a steady blood sugar level. Biotin is often recommended for strengthening hair and nails. Consequently, it is found in many cosmetic and health products for the hair and skin. Deficiency is extremely rare, as intestinal bacteria generally produce in excess of the body's daily requirement. For that reason, statutory agencies in many countries (e.g., the Australian Department of Health and Aging) do not prescribe a recommended daily intake. [edit] Uses [edit] Hair problems Biotin supplements are often recommended as a natural product to counteract the problem of hair loss in both children and adults. There are, however, no studies that show any benefit in any case where the subject is not actually biotin deficient. The signs and symptoms of biotin deficiency include hair loss which progresses in severity to include loss of eye lashes and eye brows in severely deficient subjects. Some shampoos are available that contain biotin, but it is doubtful whether they would have any useful effect, as biotin is not absorbed well through the skin.

Wen- I believe you buy biotin at the vitamin store. Tell me the brand and name of your tea again. I need a little help in that area. I was down three more pounds today! I will start soon and that will all be over. It always stops my weightloss for a few weeks. I can see my port when I just stand in front of the mirror (a little bulg under the skin). I asked the doctor about it and she said it would be more visible the more I lose. She said sometimes they move them, but not often. Not really complaining, because it still looks better than all the fat you could see all over me before. I will never have a two piece swimsuit body anyway. Too many stretch marks!

I have hairloss. She told me to take biotin for that and to go get my thyroid checked. She said that 50-60lbs. over three months shouldn't make my hair fall as bad as it is. She also said that the hair you lose from weightloss grows back. I know the protein thing sounds strange, she just said they have found that it works best. With my last fill I am pretty restricted. For lunch I had four bites of chicken salad and two triscuits. Nice!

They want us to stay away from liquid calories at all cost. They only allow it for 24hrs. after a fill (I'm not saying that it is what I always do). The thought is that chicken is bulkier and stays in the pouch longer, therefore keeping you full longer. I think! She said even if it is only four bites of chicken that you can eat in a meal. She also nixed my yogurt/bear naked granola breakfast combo. She told me eggs or cottage cheese. Great! I will still have to sneak some in every now and then.

I hit 50 lbs. this morning! Yee Haw! Five more lbs. and I will be halfway to goal! In October I am going to start getting my nails done to celebrate. This month I am going to Colorado to see my mom and go to a ladies retreat. It will be a nice break form the Texas heat.

Cindyluhu- It could just be a difference in the scale. Start fresh in the morning! Raysbabe- You look AWESOME! Totally different person. All- I got my 3rd fill today (2.1 in a 4cc band). She told me to stay away from liquid protein except for the first 24 hrs. after fills. I thought I was doing bad because the scale hasn't moved in two weeks, but I had lost 7 lbs. since three weeks ago. NSV- I went shopping with thin Hubby yesterday.........he had a smile on his face the whole time. He just kept telling me how pretty I was and how proud he was of me. It was so sweet! That was honestly the firsttime I have felt pretty in a long time. I used to get depressed shopping. This time it was fun!

I bought Tropicana Fruit Squeeze at Sam's (35cal for 15.2oz.) Yummy! I can't do Crystal Light much, so one of these a day is my treat. I went through my closet and got out all of the clothes that are to big on me and listed them in different plus size lots on ebay. I made about $350.00 between all of the lots. Now I can go and buy some more clothes. I went out shopping with a friend the other night and we went to Chick-Fil-A after. Needless to say I got sick. Does anyone else not want to go out to eat anymore, because it is just not fun? I told hubby that it is just like a waste of my time. Really weird, considering that use to be my favorite thing to do. I am so close to 50lbs., I can smell it! I think I am going to buy a coach purse when I get there. I have always been a purse and shoe freak (since buying clothes has always been depressing). Maybe in another 50 lbs. I will be a clothes freak!

Wenjea- It's good to have you back my band sister! Sorry about your pain. The weight loss is going good. I have not lost anything in ten days. Loving the gym! I tend to loose like ten lbs. in two weeks, then nothing for two weeks. Whatever! I am at 1.8cc's and really have to chew a lot to not have problems with my food. I don't know if I should get another fill or not. Sounds like your weight loss is going well also! I like the idea of an anniversary shopping trip!

Ragdoll- How did you get your before and after pics side by side? I can't figure it out........... I live in Mansfield Texas. Maybe a few of us around here could form our own monthly support group. Just a thought! My scale is stuck too! I am going to do protein shakes for two of my meals a day and see what happens.

No, I don't feel hungry at all. When I eat a few bites, it feel me up for about 4 hours. It just scares me that it is not enough food to live on. I was just wondering how much other people that have found their sweet spot eat. It is hard to get used to eating that little when you have been on a ten year binge. LOL!

Do you all remember this list? I thought it might be fun to look at how much of this we have accomplished already. Or at least how much has gotten better so far. We are all doing great. One of the songs I listen to while I am at the gym is "unwritten" by Natasha Beddingfield (I think). It is a great motivator! As well as "SexyBack" by Justin Timberlake. A list of all the reasons I would like to lose 100 lbs. 1. to be able to bend over and tie my shoes and breathe at the same time 2. to lose my apron (if you know what I mean, say Amen) 3. to stop giving Lane Bryant so much money 4. to be active with my kids 5. to feel like being more "active" with my husband 6. to set a better example for my kids 7. to not always be the largest person in the room 8. so all of my pant will no longer have those lovely worn spots where my thighs rub 9. To wear a skirt and not get a rash on my thighs 10. to be able to cross my legs 11. to be able to pass by someone and not feel like my huge @ss is gonna knock them over 12. to wear "cute" undies again... shop at Victoria's Secret again! (no more granny panties) 13. so I don't have to suck my stomach in all the time. 14. So I won't have to constantly be re-arranging my clothes to make sure all of my lumps and bumps are covered appropriately. 15. so I can fit comfortably in an airplane seat 16. So I won't have to wear a full-length trench coat to the beach (exaggeration, but you get what I mean) 17. So when I want to walk at lunch with the girls, I can keep up with them and not feel self-conscsious because I'm breathing heavier than they are. 18. So I can give myself a pedicure! 19. not be ashamed to be in a FULL LENGTH picture! 20. So I can ride roller coasters. 21. To maybe be able to wear a sexy nightie for my hubbie and look good in it..... 22. To be able to wear a pair of jeans that zip and not be pull-ons 23. So I will be willing to have my picture taken again. 24. Dance again, it wears me out right now. 25. Play with my children till I can't play anymore. 26. Scuba Dive, waterski, volleyball, hiking 27. Look cute in clothes. 28. Be more outgoing and confident. 29. Be comfortable with this body to show it off a little. 30. Have a glamour shots session. 31. Lay out on the boat in a bikini while cruising the lake. 32. I want to be able to tuck in a shirt again....I know its not the style but I still would like to have the option. 33. I want to walk up stairs and be able to talk when I get to the top. 34. I want to live long enough to drive my kids crazy and spoil the grandkids! 35. Enjoying snowboarding, wakeboarding and hiking without it feeling like a chore. 36. To be in pictures and not hide behind someone (like that helps). 37. I want to get out of bed without the feeling of rolling out of bed. 38. Dance at parties.....in a dress!!! OMG 39. I would like to be able to hug my husband real close without my big belly getting in the way. 40. I want to be able to buy a 'girlie' souvenier t-shirt when I go to theme parks, carnivals, shows, etc... instead of boxy tee shirts because those are the only ones that fit. 41. Shopping in "normal" stores. Avenue gets OLD! 42. Having normal looking backs of my knees (odd I know) 43. Doing things with my kids without guilt or worry that I will injure myself or get too tired. 44. Feeling good about myself 45. riding dirt bikes and my dh's motorcycle 46. being able to go go more than 2 minutes on a stairmaster without stopping 47. being able to use step stools and chairs without worrying they will break 48. In case of emergency, I want to be able to go into a normal sized clothing store and buy whatever I need. And one more - 49. When I go on vacation and forget to pack something, again to be able to go into a store and not have to worry if they will have something in my size! 50. I want to be able to go clothes shopping without getting depressed. I want to be able to ride Roller Coasters with my family. 51. To not freak out when the waiter wants to put you in a booth. Am I gonna fit?!? 52. All the good clearance clothes are in small sizes 53. To not be the fat one in all family pictures. 54. To not be so stinkin tired and achy all of the time. 55. To have a lap for my daughter to sit in again! 56. To get into and out of a canoe or kayak gracefully and without fear of sinking the vessel! 57. To sit in a chair with arms and not fear it will come with when you stand up! 58. To quit having to stretch my shirt over my knees while squatting, just so it hangs a little looser (and then have trouble getting back up!) 59. So the top of my pants stop flipping over, because my belly is so big and lops over the top. 60. So the bed will stop making noise when I get in. 61. So I can stop putting powder under my "apron" everyday. 62. To be "active" with my hubby during the day or with the lights on and not freak out about it the whole time. <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->63. I want my WHOLE BODY to stop moving when I stop moving (not 2-3 seconds later when I stop j i g g l i n g).. 64. I want to be able to shower without having to *ahem* 'lift' any body parts for cleaning. :-) 65. to have more hot water & my honey in the bath (less of me), really tired of sloshing water out when I get in 66.<!-- / message --><!-- sig --> I want to be able to shave and not have any missed spots because I couldnt reach or see it.....<!-- / message --><!-- sig --> 67. I'd like to be able to garden again w/out my back killing me! 68. I'd like to have room in a booth to put my napkin in my lap. 69. I'd like to be able to enter a room and not have to scope it out see all exits and paths with enough room for me to go through.

Okay, I had my second fill Monday. I went from 1.6cc's with little restriction to 1.8cc's and can not eat much at all. Yesterday I had 4oz. yogurt, 1 slice of turkey lunchmeat, 1 slice cheese, 5 sunchips. What is the difference in a sweet spot and starvation? On the flip side I have lost 4 lbs. since Monday.

One thing I have noticed is that my shirts are so baggy that my bra straps show sometimes. I was thinking I could wear my shirts longer. Not that I am complaining. I am just not use to this problem, usually it is the other way around.

Your right NSV's do give me more resolve to stay the course! It is when the scale does not move that I get discouraged. One thing I have figured oout about my body is that for about two weeks my weight will stay the same and then the next two weeks I will lose about 10 lbs. That has happened to me the last two months. I am not sur if it is because I do the eliptical for an hour each day and lift weights everyday. I was looking on my paper and my trainer said to only lift twice a week. I am so scared of being flabby and having loose skin everywhere that I lift weights all the time. Even when I am not losing weight I can tell my clothes are changing on my body. Another question............what are all of you doing with the clothes you can't wear anymore? I wish there was some way we could form a swap or something. I thought about ebay, but I have not done it yet.

I had a NSV, we had our boys 5 year b-day party yesterday. One of my husbands friends told him that I looked like I had lost a lot of weight. He told him I had and that I was havung a love affair with the eliptical machine at the gym. You now it is visible if a man notices. It made me feel really good!

Okay, so this has not been a good week. We have VBS at church and I am in charge of overseeing 84 kindergarteners. YIKES! I stress eat really bad. I had my first ever slimming experience on a donut hole today. I have had one fill. I ate a kids cheeseburger w/o the top bun. I need a fill, right? Should I be able to eat that much? I know that was not a good food choice, but like I said it has been a rough week.
