Yeah my Surgeon wants all patients on stage 2 before they leave hospital( which is mushies) stage 3 will be after my 2 week post op. He likes to get the digestive tract moving. I guess: ) He also didnt do drains. I actually wanted a drain as I heard its good to get all that crap out. But no drain here. When do you get your drain out? 3 week appt or sooner? Im really hoping that hormone is out of my tummy : ) Do you know what bougie your Dr used? Mine used a 40 wich is the largest. TAKE CARE

Hello I had my surgery 6 days ago & my mind is also playing tricks on me!! Im hungry but im not!! My husband and 3 kids are barbequin and im going nuts for real food!!!! Im tried of sugarfree jello, sugarfree pudding, cottage cheese, broth etc... Its not like Im craving a pizza, or junk I just want real healthy food, FRUIT, EGGS, MEAT, I find my being a little agitated, but I know down the road I will be able to have real food in limited portions! This is what I wanted..... I WISH YOU ALL LUCK AS MYSELF : /

Divadee it only has to get better. RIGHT?! Im 6 days post op and finally didnt need my pain meds starting yesterday. HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER REAL SOON!!

Hello Im 5 dAys out of surgery& just started my protein. I really love my shakes but trying to figure out how i can get them less bubbly and full of air when i blend them? Thx

I agree with everybody above! Im 5 days post- op and it does depend on your pain tolerance and also what happens during surgery! I have a good pain tolerance (so Ive been told) but was in pain up until 3 days post op. The incision where they took out the rest of my stomach killed for awhile. Comes to find out my surgeon had a hard time putting in the tube or whatever it is that allows the stomach to fit through abd be taken out. So that area hurt like hell and was bruised bad and still is. But they definetly give you the proper pain meds to control pain managment, so you can work on healing! You will be fine!

Hello I'm 5 days post/op and was concerned just like you. Im just doing the best I can. With all the pills we have to take its crazy. So I cut my vitamins in half ( liquid was gross) and I try and spread them out throughout the day. If I get em in Great, if I cant I dont trip over it. Good Luck! Eventually we will catch up and be on track. Just try to get hslf a pill in at least.

YES!! my tummy talks to me too! Omg and so loud! All the time. Had my Sleeve on 6/27 5 days ago. Its funny my kids look at me : / " Mom you okay?"

Unless you are really close with your sister and she needs you, I would not reschedule. I would have a long talk with her to know where her feelings are. Best of luck in these hard times.

Hello. Had sleeve surgery on 6/27/11. Started stage 2 today., had cottage cheese and yogurt this morning for breakfast. This is the first day I started feeling weak. Has anyone felt this way? What did you do?

Hello I was sleeved 6-27-11 and my stomach has alot to say about it. My stomach grumbles so loudly did anyone else experience a very vocal tummy with lots of noices? Thx for any stories

Pain is drifting away. Walking has helped alot with that believe it or not. When i dont walk i feel too stiff. YES AWESOMNESS IS STILL A WORD IN MY BOOK! ; ) so glad to hear that! I cant wait to be a new woman again too.

Push button drip( do not know what was in there) but it was magic. Keep pressN that button. You will not overdose. At home liquid loratab works just as well!!

I know exactly how you feel!!!!! I had my surgery on Mon 6/27-4 days ago. I can honestly say each day gets better. I know you heard it alot but WALK WALK WALK. gets that gas out! I was saying the same thing you were 3 days ago. WTH did I do? But now Im feeling more confident and less miserable. Just very weak today. Starting on protein shakes today. You will feel better. Manage your pain meds( take them) you need to concentrate on healing.

I am preop dont know of a surgery date or even if Ive been approved but was told to take alot if vitamins! 2 multi am &pm 6 calcium a day 2 at each meal, b1, b12, i feel like this is too much! Anyone else have to take all these VITAMINS?
