I was banded on may 30....the largest incision that we have is for the port. Mine was red only around the incision, but nothing like that. You may have something as simple a reaction to a actual a infection. Dont be afraid to call.......that is what they are there for.... Good luck on your journey...it will all be worth it

i did some research on the land rider and they sound like an awesome bike. It is a 7 geared bike, and would really make biking fun.......Little high in price...would love to find someone who actually owns one.....They are on sale for 399...and they do offer a 4 pay payment plan..... yes.....it is crazy.....I am always drinking water.......and I am not tired of it....it may just be the hot weather

did your doctor not have a plan to see you 4 or 5 weeks after your surgery? I am scheduled on the 28th of this month and am ready. They say that is when the real issues of eating right are very important. I am counting the days till the 28th.... good luck

I was excited to go to the gas station today...my morning weight and the gas was the same price....289!!!!! I am down 16lbs now since surgery on the 30th of May.....I hope the gas prices keep coming down with my weight.... Congrats to everyones losses.....

hi everyone From what I have read on here, after you have had that happen, you need to stay on Clear Liquids for the next day, to let yourself heal. I have not yet exprienced it, nor do I hope to, but I am sure it will happen..... Take it easy, and DONT BEAT YOURSELF UP OVER IT..... just get up tommorow with the new day and start again... good luck, it will get better...

Welcome Aboard..my Name Is Traci From Indiana And I Was Banded On May 30 And Am Down 14lbs. It Is A Great Feeling. I Started On April 2 At 322, And 292 Is My Weight Today....so...that Is 30 Lbs In 2 Months.... Keep Up The Good Work.....have You Tried Biking??? I Bought A Single Speed Bike From Walmart And Love It!!!!

i WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TOO CHAT ANYTIME. I WAS BANDED LAST WEDNESDAY, AND TODAY MY DAUGHTER AND SON WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT HEADING OVER A COUNTRY HILL HIT AN OIL TANKER AND TOTALED OUR CAMRY. LUCKY FOR ALL THEY WERE OK, EXCEPET FOR A FEW BUMPS AND BRUISES. FOR BEING 5 DAYS POST OP, I WANTED TO DIE!!!!

I was in the hospital for 23 hours..released the next morning after surgery. I am glad I was there an nothing came up, which could of....My doctor and his staff was great... Good Luck, I still dont regret this at all. I am 5 days post op, and regaining strength every day. Good luck

Congrats on hitting the 2 week mark and feeling so good. Your weight will keep coming off, and I am sure when we start adding the exercise back into our diet is when it will kick back in gear. I am 5 days Post Op.....banded on the 30th... Traci

Sandi and group, I had my surgery on the 30th as planned, and have had a good weekend. mY pain is allot less today, and I was able to hold a small graduation party for my daughter yesterday. Went to bed at 830 last night, but I made it. The doctors and the nurses at the surgery center were just awesome...couldnt of asked for nicer people. To date my weight loss is moving the scale....i am so excited to weigh myself in the mornings. Thanks for checking in on us.....

I saw the doctor and pshy, and nutrionist on the 12 of April. I was approved by insurance on the 21 of May. My surgery was the 30th. Good luck with your surgery. Waiting seemed to be the hardest, well until the pre-op diet starts..LOL> but you can make it through...we all have and so will you! Best of luck... Traci

Hello everyone... My surgery was this morning and I actually feel OK. I have been up walking:) drinking my sips of Water and just hanging out in my room. There are 3 of us that was banded today by the same doctor. Everyone is doing good, and I am so ready to start my new journey....It is like I have been given a new life to live....and live it is what I plan to do. I went from 322 prior to surgery in April, and weighed in today (on a diffrent scale) and was 305. At work it had me lighter, but I also had to hydrate myself extra the day before.... So I will take it..... Thanks all of you for your post and your support. Traci:clap2:

I have had my dietician visit, my pshy exam, and surgeon visit and also my peop visit. I had recently done a complete blood work up the month I saw the surgeon, and so that was not re done. I am having an EKG the day of surgery, not sure why that was not done prior to but??? I am excited to say the least. Everyone is being supportive. My husband and I had a argument on friday, 4 days into my preop liquid stage. Honestly it was both of us, and allot was because I had not eaten since early that day....and we were at Wendys.... I didnt get anything, but it was hard. I have done good all weekend though and am waiting for the time to come to go and ride bikes tonight.

unjury is excellent....if you have the non flavored mix it with whatever drink you like...i usually use oj in am for breakfast and crystal light in the afternoon. It is by far so much better than any other I have found. I DONT LIKE LIQUID PROTIEN FROM GNC...OH MY GOODNESSS....GAGAGAGGAGAGAGAGGA

I would like too know too...I bet we are going to have to wait....I am riding now, I am being banded this Wednesday... I have started riding last week..so I hate to wait too long But....I know that you use muscles that you proably dont think about when you ride in your stomach??? Good luck...how are you doing 2 weeks out????

good morning too you and welcome. I am being banded this Wednesday.....2 more days!!!!!!! I have been on my preop diet for a week now.....and I can tell you it for the most part has been OK. Not excellent by no means but here I am 2 days before my surgery...and the only cheating I have done was a small salad with roasted chicken. NO dressing, etc.....Just missed the chewing... But other than that.....I love the protien powder from unjury.. it is real smooth tasting and does not clump. Good luck to you Traci

I have wanted to cheat so bad. Last night was horrible, but made it tru ok. I sent my kids out to eat tonight... I am getting my band on Wednesday...but I sure do wish I could just have a chicken breast...mmmmmmmm I am ready to get in the operating room and get banded...... Well...everybody stay strong....I am off for a bike ride now
