you know, hills are cahllenging, and getting up the ones that I walked before is HUGE for me. There are few "little" hills in southern Indiana.... I think we are going to ride the route we rode for the bike fest in Aug. this weekend. I want to ride it....it is challenging an a good course. May even add more onto it for even a better challenge. I am looking at road bikes..........................can everyone give me there opinions on what to look for in one? I want to stay between 600-1300 price range.....proably wont get it right away(due to the cost) but I wanted to get peoples opinions on there prefrenance.....some are compact some arent...what is the diffrence..how would that affect my riding??? Will they hold my weight??? What about carbon, versus steele?? Ok...thanks!!!

congrats on getting your date, and making such a great move!!! I live about 45 min from Bloomington, and I go to Fishers for my fills. I am doing pretty good, and you know.....feeling good again is worth all the waiting we did to get to the surgery!!! best of luck, Traci

you know I am real dissapointed in my 3 month pictures. I was wearing shorts that were actually too big, and I looked frumpy and blah...... But you know what...I dont care.....I am going to keep going till I have acheieved what I want.... Didnt ride tonight...kinda caught the chickens on fire on the grill.....yea...pretty bad.....guess I shouldnt cook there...LOL<

Okay everyone......I am back.... We started out this morning around 10 or 1030 actually forgot to look at the clock....I wanted to ride out of the valley here and down an area that I had drove..thinking it would be a cool ride....and it was(kinda) We got about 4 miles into it and had stopped to get a drink and let me whine some. I just spilled the Beans so to speak. I told him, that I was not actually "mad" at him....more of it being a "me" problem...etc.....I told him that everyone on here had given me advice, which is what kept me from being a total B last night which is why I chose to not discuss it. He told me he thinks I am worried about riding with people because will judge me for walking a hill, or that I am not as fit as others are yet....HMMM...ya!!!!! So, anyway...we took about 10 min or so, I said what I needed to say, as did he...and went on our way. So....story over... We went down to the hwy, and stopped to get fresh water...I defiantly need insulated bottles, and another rack.... Than Stupid me, asked him if he wanted to try riding to the Damm...which is where we normally ride....so.....I huffed and puffed up some Major F hills......(yes I walked some...ok...lots) but than we ended up at the damm, and I rode the hills to there that I normally walked...go figure....we took a good long rest and worked on my bike, it is making a loud noise in the back... Than took off back. This was the hardest part for me, and I think it was becuase we rested too long... But....we ended up getting 26.75 miles in and was gone over 4 hours..LOL Everyone with kids..She will still come if everyone brings there little ones....I just wanted to make sure there were no alternatives...becuase as J she doesnt like to camp all that much...LOL Jc...your ex is a phsyco huh??? Too bad, you deserve someone very special... D.........NO NO AND NO....I AM NOT MAD AT YOU.........YOU GUYS GOT ME THROUGH A TUFF WEEKEND....AND I APPREICATE EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU AND YOUR OPINIONS......THEY ARE WHAT GAVE ME STRENGTH TO WALK UP THOSE DAMN HILLS. WE CHANGED ELEVATIONS BY OVER 300 FEET OR BETTER JUST GETTING UP TO THE HILL TO GET STARTED.....SUCKED...BAD..... BUT I AM BACK AND SHOWERED AND HUNGRY!!!!!!

ya my daughter asked last night if everyone was still going..I have not paid my fee for the ride yet either.....I am badddddd. I wonder if BG is taking her mom? If she is I may end up not taking my kids. But, if not than I will(which is not a problem) I go back to the doctor the day before our trip....It is only like 2 hours from the campground.....I would love to go ahead up on that Thursday....but I hate to take the kids out of school. My oldest that still lives at home and was going to babysit, said she would stay home if we dont need her...so let me know As soon as you know for sure BG..... I think the weather has finally broke..it is decent outside and I am going to go riding here in a little bit...I am being a B**** to DH......not intending to....just am.....I cant help it...... I wanted to just go ride alone this morning..and he was like NOOOOOO just wait and we can go...OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Now...what the Hell is the damn diffrence????????????????? Oh...and I am commiting myself to walking at lunch this week too. Need to kick it up a notch....a BIG one. I am seeing a loss on my scale which is good.....of course being on liquid does that every time....hmmm..maybe we should do it all the time....

JC so, which bike are you taking with you on your trip to Indiana??? When is your birthday??? My daughter's is the 1st, and my husband's is the 27th.(October) J..you can have your broccli....yuckkkkkkkkkkkk never, ever have liked it... I am a veryyyyyyyyyy picky eater.....hmmmm kinda the reason I have the weight issue. Well, It has been 3 days since my fill....I can tell a diffrence in amount of food I am able to eat. I hope it last. He did explain though, why it would seem like it would be looser after 10 days or so....he said as we loose weight we loose it inside around our stomach as well as on the outiside.....which means the band loosens up..Makes sense.... Never really thought about your internal oragans and the fat that is stored around them.

d. where did you order your new shorts from???? That totally stinks about the car.....I hate it when people do cruel things, and when they are done to our kids it hurts even more......I think I would have to be the one getting bailed out of jail...well....no proably not...I am kinda a sissy and dont like to fight..LOL Well....update from here. I went to bed at 8pm last night, got up this morning and got a shower...he is still in bed hasnt said a word, and if he does not get up soon, I am taking off on my own...just will have to walk up the gravel road until I get to the main road...but what the heck.... I took everyone's advice and didnt bring it up or mention anything, although he knows something was wrong becuase when he called me at work I was crying...I HATE WHEN I DO THAT!!!!! He asked me last night what was wrong and I just told him to drop it, becuase he would not understand.... I feel like it was best. J......a 1 x.....wow!!!!!!! Isnt that awesome????? I think it is cool you can buy stuff at NORMAL stores and feel so damn good about it. JC...so how long have you been seperated? Have you been on dates since? B....and JC...my 22 year old co-worked who is a real good friend of mine has the Iphone and it is pretty awesome. I have been able to use it at work and I like it...but I have verizon...and dont have $600..if I did I would be getting a road bike...LOL Well everyone....have a good day

I chose not to tell my husband about what I am feeling. It would be blown out of proportion, and that is not my intention at all. My feeling's and insecurity should not be his problem at all. Although, I still have the feelings, I am not going to make an issue of them and start a fight. He thinks I am mad....LOL I am not mad at him....just in a funk.... Jc...congrats on your son...that is wonderful... I like my bike, I can't say I love it....wait till I get my road bike. Well, I am going to go for now....everyone have a good evening....... Thank you everyone for the support, the advice, and most of all your friendships. It is so nice to know we can get on here and get diffrent outlooks, that we cant always find on our own. I am leaving for home soon, maybe we can get in a ride this evening...? Glad you told her J.......I always wonder what people's reactions will be....and I hate judgemtal people...... d. Well....It was my choice too work. we need the money and the OT is available to me, so that is kinda my fault. Yes, they are women, one man who is married to the one lady who runs the group. There were some new people going that I have no clue who they are..etc.....What if he finds someone who is already better fit and able to ride more like him?>? I havent been able to get as much in lately, and I feel bad becuase of that, and yes this is OUR time.... I feel like crap......It shouldnt be this way.....and now I am all upset and he STILL HAS NOT CALLED!!!! Oh, well...I guess I dont know how he would feel, I dont think I could ever go without him, becuase he always goes....but..i dont know.... I hate being insecure in my life..this sucks
