oh and go onto craigslist to look for a used road bike in your area.....or close by.....some are excellent deals, some arent!! I sold my Trek and my Giant on there.....and people didnt bat an eye at the price

well, I will pipe in here.....I can understand the compettion thing and the jealousy as well...if you all remember last year I threw a fit when my husband went riding with a group of people....which included women.....not like he would ever do anything.....But, I notice that my husband seems to be more insecure with my weight loss as well. You know.....they loved us heavy.....we loved them when we were heavy...that wont change....but sometimes it seems like they "push" us away...which is never good. Does your wife post on here and have people she can relate to??? I know what it is like to be stuck at a certain weight...it sucks!!!!!! We are all just good friends on here, and I love that I can come on here and vent....and love all my support....... Hang in there!!!!!!

hey ZZ, hey girl...hang in there....I have those weeks that I am doing the same thing, although mine is not with ice cream...we all have slips and it is hard to eat good when you are on the run....although it is becoming a lot easier than it use to be......HANG IN THERE!!!! D...yes, we biked, we ran, we biked, we ran, we canoed.....it was a defiante good exercise weekend.......NOW LETS MOVE SCALE!!! HA_HA But having to find some places we can go to get the distance without being on a bus road. It is definatly interesting!!! Your pictures from the camping was great!!!!! I miss my camper.... well, i put myself for 100 miles a week, and I dont know if I am going to get that or not. I do have 60 miles in this week, but am going to have to fight the rain first part of the week it looks like, I think I am going to start walking again at lunch time...maybe 2-3 times a week along with riding. Need to get the scale moving

Hello I am in I will commit to at least 100 miles of cycling per week. (lets hope it does not rain all month) But I have an indoor set up as well for my bike, so I am ok with that if I had to. My goal was to hit 1200 miles by end of September. I am a little short of that right now. You guys are great, and WOOHOOO> Lets hit the road!!!!

thanks everyone!!!!!D...I know what you mean about taking the daughter along. She rode with us last week and was barely moving at 10....my friends kicked her up a notch and got her excited and she is pushing a little harder now. She has a big issue with pedaling and than stopping....and than stopping to get off her bike all together.....But...we are hoping she is getting more confident, and I dont care to have rides like that because I know she is out there riding and that is all that matters...she is a kid...(i have to remember that sometimes) But thanks about the picture.....I am totally amazed lately...and it is definatly a good motivation to keep working so hard. We are riding tonight..just john and I, and than hoping we dont get allot of rain so we can get some in on our days off.... B....YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!! All of you running....amazes me!!!!!

kool...I was just going to tell you I just recieved a new sale add from Performance too and they were on sale there as well. I hope you like it. I am taking my bike tommorow to the specialized store to get new gel wrap on my handelbars and to have them check my reach on my bars. I have a Trek, but everything else is specialized...LOL

yea, and it rubs in all the wrong spots I bought a real nice seat from specialized for $40. It is pretty nice and it is Womens specific. I also bought my gloves and shoes there as well. BIG difference.

mine is a 2007 bike 2100. It has changed to the 2.3 for the 2008 models I got it for the same price as the 2.1 of this years model....so that is why I got it....and it is awfullyyyyyy sweeettttt
