    I just signed up as a new member today and am waiting to be approved by my insurance carrier. I too am an emotional eater, pre-diabetic with hypertension and osteoarthritis. I am just as afraid not to have the surgery as I am of having it. I'm 5'2 and weigh 247 pounds but yet I'm terribly afraid of losing too much weight. Secondly, is anyoner embarrassed about eating such small portions of food, i.e 1/2 of cup at each meal?
